Their final price was lower then their estimate. There were some problems with the product that I had purchased for them to put up and they figured out how to install it anyway. They came out at exactly the time they told me they would be here and were just wonderful. I would use them again.

I was very impressed with the work that Shane from Ashpaugh did for us. He was very honest and efficient. He looked at a breaker that we thought was broken and explained it needed pushed a little further to turn on and then proceeded to explain to us how to maintenance the breakers. He also switched some wiring in our entry way light so we would be able to turn it off! He worked very quickly in the garage and even rewired an outlet in the garage so it wouldn't be on the same breaker as the inside. He was very professional, very quick and did a great job! I would definitely use them again!

It went well overall. They were able to give me a lot of information up front so that I could make decisions about the specifics of the project. I had already had an estimate and similar conversation with another company (significantly more expensive) and much of what they told me was in line with it. However, they also were more knowledgeable about dimmable CFLs. Though the first company thought that there would need to be several holes made and patched in the ceiling, Ashpaugh did not think this was the case - and it wasn't. The only holes remaining at the end of the work were the tiny ones where the previous fixture was hanging. They offered tips on repair of the holes which worked beautifully. They were early or on time for all appointments and were extremely courteous and professional.

The crew was very professional, knew what they were doing, and recognized things that needed to be addressed without adding on to the dollar amount. They worked well with our general contractor. A nice, polite, very customer care oriented group.

Their representative arrived on time, professionally performed the work requested and for a lower cost than I had estimated.

Great. I asked lots of questions and the gentleman was very patient. I have a list of other items to fix. Ashpaugh suggested I make a list, call them back and they will give us a quote and timeframe.

I called Ashpaugh Electric on a thurs. and they were able to come out the very next day to replace the outlets. Larry Shook was the techinician who came out. He was very efficeicent and knowledgable. I would defintely use this company again. I thought the price was a little high, however I thought it was well worth it. Larry was very helpful in explaining why were having problems with our outlets.

Got quotes for this project from 2 other companies, and even though Ashpaugh was a little bit higher, their initial quote was more thorough, and in the end, I'm glad we went with this company. They did a very good job and were the epitome of professionalism. They were also great about answering all my questions.

He was well aware of the type of bathroom fan we were looking for and came on time and installed it in a short time period. The fans were not cheap so neither was his bill, but that is due to the item we were requesting. We love the fan and how well it works.

They were prompt, wore shoe protectors and were mindful of how cold it was outside (not leaving the door hanging open like some service companies do) when needing supplies from his truck.

The job was going to be more difficult than usual due to the lack of an existing telephone jack/line in close proximity to the front room, plus the basement area was finished below the room where the telephone was to be run. It was more than I felt I could do myself (I had run another line in our previous home) and contacted the telephone company to do the work. The telephone technician came out, took one look, and declined to do the work because he felt the work required (drilling access points, drilling through wall studs and other interior wall barriers, snaking around several sharp corners, etc.) was well above his capability. The telephone tech suggested we contact an electrician with much more experience in doing the type of work we wanted. We contacted Ashpaugh and they sent a technician who, once he reviewed the job, explained it would be a difficult job. We discussed a few options/routes to get the line into the room, and especially to the area we wished the phone jack to be located. Once we agreed on the route, the electrician explained what he needed to do (junction boxes, drilling using a flexible drill, etc.). He also explained that there may be inadvertent damage to the walls due to the tight corners he needed to drill to snake the telephone line and flexible drill bits can be hard to control trying to do what he was about to attempt. I explained I understood and asked him to do his best. It took about 3 1/2 hours, but the technician was able to position the line exactly were we wanted. There was a small bit of wall damage (the flexible drill bit got off course and drilled a hole through some finished drywall), but not really anything of major consequence. The tech patched the hole and I will be finishing the minor repair/painting myself. Overall, we were very satisfied with the work, especially considering the difficulty of the job.

I called Ashpaugh to get an estimate on installing new pendant lighting over the bar area in my home. Brian Ashpaugh and Steve Bryson came to my home to look at where I wanted the lights. They told me they would most likely be able to install the new lighting without tearing up the ceiling to run the wiring, which was a real plus to me. While they were here Brian suggested that I consider under cabinet lighting since I was remodeling the kitchen and the new tile backsplash had not been installed and the wiring could still be run through the wall. Brian said it would really make a difference in the lighting in the kitchen and really show off the new granite counter tops. I asked for an estimate on that as well. I decided to have them install the pendants and under cabinet lighting. I absolutely love the under cabinet lighting and very happy that I did it. It is everything and more than I could ever imagined. The pendant lighting was installed with minimal damage to the drywall and everything looks wonderful. The electrician had to come back the next day to bring new switch plate covers and while here I had him put up the new nook light that match the pendant lighting.

On time and efficient. He even took the old bulbs to dispose of for me.

The job WAS efficient and well-done. The electrician was professional and got the garage re-wired and the external lighting done in 1 day.

This company did an excellent job. The workers were on time and wore little booties to protect the floor. They cleaned up after themselves. They were efficient.
