Larry did a wonderful job. We had a family emergency I had to unexpectedly attend to that day so I was in and out while he worked. Everything was handled as quickly as possible in a professional manner. I was not there upon arrival however but we have a dog that is very leery of strangers, particularly men, and barks constantly when other contractors have been to our home. Our dog did not bark once at him and was very well behaved all day as he came in out. As Larry moved from project to project appropriate measures were taken to use drop cloths where necessary and rooms were cleaned as he went. We have a one issue that needs to be addressed in a follow-up service call. We will be scheduling Ashpaugh Electric to complete.

We had smoke in our basement and had to call the fire department early in the morning. They advised us to call an electrician to look at our breaker box. We had used Ashpaugh once in the past for a relative's house, so we called and they came out as soon as they started work. They advised us we needed to call the electric company to investigate the cause of the smoke. The electrician said that if it turned out to be something we needed to have repaired, he would come out later that same day and fix what we needed. Luckily the repair was made by the electric company and we didn't need to pay for a big repair. Very honest company and would recommend them.

They are a very good company. The interractions with them went very well. This is the third or fourth project that they have done for us and we have been happy with them every time. They are very personable and professional.

Brian Ashpaugh is very professional and maintains contact regularly throughout the project. We are very pleased with our finished product. The lighting has improved our kitchen immensely!

He gave us an estimate upfront of what it would take for several of the tasks we wanted, and we decided to eliminate some of the items on our list of "to dos" so we could keep under the price we wanted to invest for now. He had to climb up into the attic to rewire an old ceiling fan to put it back on the circuit with the light switches. He also installed two other light fixtures, one of them with a box because we had some older wiring and needed to update. One of the light fixtures we selected was complicated to put together, but he was great at working it out and getting the fixture up. And he was great with our dog, which made the whole project fun.

Steve arrived as scheduled and was very professional and did an excellent job of making the requested repairs.

The worker was on time, clearly explained what was involved and gave reasonable estimates of work to be done if I wanted to continue. Very polite and respectful and did a great job cleaning up.

Technician (Wes) was very polite and found problem in a junction box that I did not was underground. Fixed it relatively quickly, diagnosed the problem and the outdoor outlet was working within and hour. He was here about an hour and total bill was $201 including a $70 trip charge and less a $20 Angies List discount. Felt it was a little pricey, but he did find the problem fairly quickly after digging up a shallow underground junction box. All other aspects of the job and visit were great. Would recommend them to anyone. Felt price was a little high...but another company may have taken longer to find problem and charged more in the end. Basically, very happy.

They did a good job. They made good suggestions that were different than our initial ideas. They did the work quickly. They were very knowledgeable and professional.

I love these guys.... very professional, explained every detail to me, was prompt, curtious and efficient. I would definitely use this company again. It's hard to find people who know what they are doing and do it well..

Located part of problem and diagnosed but unable to fix other. Offered to quote a bigger job to repair. Declined for now. Overall good service

They are very friendly and are a Christian business. My son has Down Syndrome, and I am very particular about having strange men in my home. Wes is very good with Tyler and I feel comfortable with him in my home. He let's me know what the status of the project is and never does anything without communicating with me first.

Steve arrived on time, quoted a fair price and proceded with the job. Steve realized that I would be without a range if he completed the job as my new range was not due for delivery until September 25. He finished running the wire but held off on the exchange until the new range would be here. He offered to come back and do the switch between the power outlets on that date. Thanks Steve for being so accommadating. We have used Ashpaugh Electic in the past and will continue to recommend to our friends.

They were very professional and very good about letting me know each step of the way how much it would cost. I just felt that for what they did they charged alot of money.

Went great. They called to confirm that I was home, and since I was a little early Wes went ahead and came out a bit before the scheduled time. He wore shoe covers and used tarps. All the work was fast and clean - exactly what I was looking for. Even better - he put up with me watching and asking questions. It was a great experience and I'd use Ashpaugh again anytime.

He opened our older fuse box and began to tighten the screws. He explained his method of fixing my issue as he was working. He also mentioned that they have a service agreement where they check your outlets twice a year. He checked ours and made some suggestions, replacing some of our GFI outlets. I went ahead with the service agreement due to my pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Ashpaugh for electrical work.

Excellent service and quality of work. Brian Ashpaugh is extremely professional. His team is equally professional. They installed many canned lights in our late 1980's home to update it and add some brightness. We could not be happier with the results. We will use them again without a moment's hesitation.

Day one they put one fan together. Day to he put the fan up, but it made a funny noise. Ends up there was a screw loose. The next day they were supposed to come back and put a dimmer on our lights and check the loose screw. I waited for a few hours for them to get there, and he finally got there and he couldn't fix it. I had to buy a new fan and a different servicemen came out to try and put the new one up and as it ends up the screw was loose inside a compartment of the original fan. There was a lot of hassle. Called boss to come out and check out the a light fixture situation for free, but never got a call back. I was frustrated because they told me if it was a two man job they would sent two people and they only sent one. After a couple of weeks, the owner contacted me and apologized for my frustrations with the service. He refunded the service fee for the fan's installation.

There was a problem with a dimmer switch and he put in a new switch.

Very pleasant and professional. On time. Explained everything and answered all my questions.

Overall experience went very well as planned. The owner called several times to follow up and see if I was pleased.

The electrician came on short notice. (I needed a new light in the dining room to prepare for 4th of July house guests.) He removed the old light and installed the new one. He also removed a fixture that was shorting from the track lighting in the hall and warned me that the replacement lamp I'd bought wasn't suitable. The electrician was friendly and precise. He cheerfully worked in the crawl space to change the switch. I've used this company before and would be happy to use them again.

Ashpaugh came out the next day and fixed our electrical issue which we found was that the breaker was undersized for the circuit.
