They were fantastic from start to finish. We had a lot of projects we wanted to do and they came out and gave a quote for each individual item and we were able to select what we wanted to do within our budget. The work ended up being more complicated than they anticipated and it took three days instead of one, but they stayed with the quote they gave us. The wall sconces were very difficult because they needed to work around the fire place and through plaster walls, but they took their time and did it right. The sconces look like original features. They were also very clean and did not leave a lot of mess. We wished we had used Ashpaugh for our prior projects because they do such a great job.

Customer service was great in setting up the appointment. Shane, the technician, arrived on time and completed all tasks. He cleaned up and left no mess behind. I was very pleased with the service provided and would definitely use again!

They gave us a 2 hour window they were shooting for and even got to us an hour earlier! Called 30 minutes before coming so we could be there. Larry was very friendly, professional, and efficient. Within 30 minutes he had all work done! I will be calling them again should I need electrical work done.

The installation of the ceiling fans and lights went great. Brian came out to give a quote and then the work order was sent by email in a timely manner. The work was completed very professionally and quickly!

We called because of several electrical issues and were given immediate service. We were very pleaed.

We had a long wish list of items we wanted completed. Wes priced everything individually and was available to begin work, but let us decide what we wanted done. There was no pressure whatsoever, and that was much appreciated. We decided on 4 items, and they were all completed that day. Wes was thorough, answered all of our questions, and was very careful inside the house. We wouldn't hesitate to use Ashpaugh Electric again.

This was truly a lousy experience because they did not do what they said they were going to do in terms of submiting an estimate and they knew I was member of Angie's list.

I commented before on the fact that they came to my house for a small repair. Well, this time I went all out with several projects. Excellent quality of workmanship. The owner called me personally to discuss the quotes/prices and ideas for the various changes in the lighting systems in my house. I really enjoyed his professionalism as well as the electrician, Wes, that came to my house. It was a great experience overall! Reasonable prices for such experienced electricians (over 12 years for Wes)! I also signed up for the safety inspection, which is a comfort to know that my house is safe and wired correctly (I am terrified of house fires). This also gave a discount on the other work requested (a nice bonus). I have selected Ashpaugh Electric to do all my electrical work (now and in the future)!

We were wanting a concealed place where we could charge telephones, ipads, etc. Steve came out and was able to install the receptacles inside the closet. Everything went very well. I have used Ashbaugh on 3 occasions previoulsy and Steve has done all the work each time. On all 4 projects Steve has done an excellent job and I plan on using them again.

I'm sorry that I don't remember the name of the fellow that Ashpaugh Electric sent to our house, but he was very nice, and helped us figure out where the best placements of the outlets we wanted added to the basement should be.

Everything went well, we would use him again in the future.

I scheduled the appointment 10 days in advance of the appointment only to be called the morning of the appointment and asked if I could be bumped to the afternoon. I said yes because I had to have it fixed and it was my only day off work to get it done. The guy showed up, diagnosed the problem and left to get the part. He was efficient, the job came in as quoted and I am very happy overall with their service. I would recommend this company to others and would hire them again.

We felt the cost was reasonable and the work was excellent. It took about 5 hour because the wiring was very involved. They were prompt, they were clean and we trusted them in our house. We even phoned them later with a question and they were very helpful.

Scheduling the appointment was simple. The electrician, Greg, was able to determine rather quickly that the flood lights were not receiving power. He checked both the inside the house and the in-garage light switches and learned the older in-garage switch was not working. That switch was replaced. After power was restored it was learned that one of the three light pods was not working. He attempted to remove that pod for replacement but was unable to do so. Greg was very nice and seemed to know what he was doing. Overall I am pleased that the lights are now functional (2 of the 3) and the experience of repair was okay. Greg spent quite a bit of time at our house trying to figure out the problem (part of the difficulty was that we did not know the in-garage switch also operated the floods). The price seemed high to me. It is $70 for the service call. The switch replacement was $78 and it was $106 to diagnose the problem. I did question the cost to no real avail. The $20 Angie List member discount was appreciated! I would use this company again but probably only if I knew what the specific problem was.

Our master bath did not have an exhaust fan (but had windows - so passed code inspection). Brian (owner) came to our house. He was very professionally dressed and I was impressed by his knowledge. I've had bad experiences with some other electrical providers on Angieslist and was surprised at how Brian handled things. One meeting with him and you can rest assured that he is going to get all your problems fixed. HE looked around the house and had emailed me very detailed estimates along with a contract. The installation was delyed because the special fan I had ordered was backordered. I had to call his office twice to get an update (more on this later) but was given a satisfactory response. Once the fan arrived, they gave me a call to schedule installation. Installer was on time, very professional and courteous. He even wore shoe covers without me prompting him (even Brian wore them the first time he came to provide estimates). Installer got to work right away and encountered some unexpected joist in the bathroom ceiling. He improvised on the spot and fitted the exhaust fan without any problems. He went into the attic and used an insulated exhaust pipe and ran it to an existing roof exhaust (no new holes in the ceiling). Work was done on time. The installer cleaned up everything in the bathroom and I could not see a speck of dust. I am so impressed that I've already ordered a few more projects with him (one is starting in 3 days from now). Some negatives: Brian is great but is sometimes out of office for work. In order to schedule my future work, I had called in 3 times and spoke with his secretary/assistant who promised she'd pass the message along. Apparently, she never did. I sent an email to Brian and he called me back in the next 30 minutes apologizing for the error and scheduled work for me over the phone. Great guy. I hope this error in his office was just a one time thing.

Very good- very professiona. On time. Was a difficult job.

Shane came to replace the faulty switch. He does great work and is friendly, courteous and a skilled electrician. He has been to our home before and always does a wonderful job.
