They came and gave us a quote quickly and performed the work promptly. They were very easy to work with and I felt comfortable having their staff in my home. I would use them again.

We have been using Ashpaugh for many years. Their service is great and their company values(excellent work, service and customer satisfaction) have always been evident. The work they did on this date was to followup on some work they recommended during a full safety check which they had performed the previous summer. We had gotten busy and forgotten to schedule the work, so they contacted us to remind us, which was very appreciated, especially since one of the things we needed was to replace an old smoke detector. Steve, our serviceman, was very friendly yet didn't delay his work by chatting too much. I was able to ask him a couple other questions which he happily answered and let me know what to look for as signs of a problem. He cleaned up after himself - cleaned up the drywall crumbs and the wrappers from the parts he installed. And he double checked the other fixtures to ensure the safety check he had done the previous summer was complete. I have interacted with the owner Brian many times and he is everything you can hope for in a hometown businessman - respect for his employees, respect for his customers, and a true desire to provide a value product.

Ashpaugh Electric responded to our call for service on the same day and the electrician was knowledgeable and helpful in repairing a problem with our ceiling fan. The service produced the results we expected and effort was made to reduce costs to us so we did not need to purchase a new fan. (Another electrician from another company made a service call a few days before and recommended a new fan plus cost of installations as the only solution to the problem.) The electrician from Ashphaugh Electric removed the remote panel and rewired the fan so it would work through our existing wall switch without using the remote. The fan worked perfectly without needing to be replaced. All of the work by Ashpaugh Electric was done carefully along with a complete explanation of the procedures being executed. We appreciated the prompt, courteous service of Ashpaugh Electric as they worked to repair the problem. We will definitely keep Ashpaugh Electric as our electrical company to call when we need an electrician! Excellent work from Ashpaugh Electric.

They came out and determined the outlets weren't working properly. Since we needed the outlets the next day, the made a short term repair and came back later to make a permanent repair. This is a very good electrical contractor that is very thorough! They saved us a lot of grief by checking things out. It couldn't have turned out better!

Service was quick and price reasonable, my only disappointment was waiting 4 days for an appointment while unable to use several outlets normally in constant use--but I suppose that's what comes from using a good service provider in high demand..

I contacted Ashpaugh last fall to get a quote on upgrading the electric from 60 amp to 200 amp service as well as running the required electric service for HVAC on two floors. I only had half the work done this spring and they honored their quote from last fall. From the time I called saying I was ready for the work to be done, Brian kept me informed as he was getting the proper permits and contacting the REMC to get them scheduled. Larry was at the house and went immediately to work. Brain came out within a few minutes of Larry to review the work that was to be done and explaining how it would be done. The first day Larry spent outside the house removing the old exterior wiring, install the new exterior panels and running the main line from the exterior panels to the basement. He also did the fuse box removal. On the second day Larry arrive promptly and immediately went back to work in the basement installing the circuit panel and breakers while the REMC was outside cutting down the existing lines, cutting the trench, installing the new incoming lines and connecting them to the new panel. Both were done within a few minutes of each other. Larry stayed and removed the old line coming down off the roof and down the side of the house when the REMC left without removing them as promised. Brain contacted the REMC and requested the exterior line work and scheduled with them. I didn't have to make or take any calls to the REMC. When the work was completed I received an email with a copy of the bill detailing the work that was done and the final amount due. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work done and the entire experience. I will definitely be calling Ashpaugh when we're ready for the rest of the work to be done.

Wonderful experience! After having several people come out to inspect why our lights were flickering in our home, Ashbaugh came out and actually listened to what I suspected was the problem. The tech took the time to talk with me and instruct me on what was going on in the home. He found the issue (which was our well pump) and even gave me recommendations on who to call to have the problem fixed. It was a great experience. Would definitely recommend to others.

I am having trouble with the ceiling fan, he came in and fixed what he though was the problem and it worked and it ran all summer. When I turned it off in the summer it would not come back on. I do not know if there was something else wrong with it or what. When he was here earlier, he was going to call me to come back and give an estimation to have additional wiring run in my garage and things and he never called back.

The service was excellent. We were able to schedule the estimate appointment & work in a timely manner. Very professional & easy to work with. We were provided with ideas on how best to complete the project & it was done according to the plan.

Ashpaugh was very easy to work with and did excellent work. David Ashpaugh came over to give me an estimate on a few jobs around my house. He was punctual and pleasant, and had the estimate ready the next day as promised. When I called them to do one of the jobs, scheduling was easy and prompt. The work itself took only about an hour, and the electrician was very courteous and efficient. The work was done well with no hassles or worries. All in all a very positive experience. I'll call them again to do the other jobs on my list when we're ready.

Steve,the electrician, arrived on time and reviewed with me exactly what we wanted done. He removed the chandelier in the foyer with some difficulty because the original installer had used the wrong screws plus the fact that he was 18' up on a ladder. Once the old chandelier was removed he was quickly able to install the new one using the correct hardware. The installation of the outlet was done without any problems. Once he was done, he tested his work and cleaned up. The work was done to our satisfaction. Steve was very professional in his work and very personable in dealing with my wife and I. We would definitely recommend Ashbaugh Electric for any electrical projects.

Ashpaugh came within a reasonable timeframe; we had explained conduit had been used on the porch ceiling to run the wiring over to the fan. Ashpaugh removed the old fan and replaced it with our new one, removed the old conduit and replaced it with a better, more updated conduit, all with no muss and no fuss, no drama...they just do their work professionally and we have always been pleased.

Steve was very good and communicated all of his findings, as well as what he completed.

I had originally called another service provider a year and a half ago because of two recessed lights that were not working in our basement. They told me they couldn't fix it, but they suspected that our whole basement needed to be re-wired. I wasn't comfortable with that assessment, so did nothing. Finally, today, I had Ashpaugh Electric look at them. I didn't tell him about the previous assessment, just that they didn't work. Within thirty minutes, he had fixed the loose wiring causing the cans to be out, readjusted two wall plates for me, and cleaned up the drywall dust that fell from the ceiling. Problem solved, and I will definitely keep Ashpaugh as my "go to" for electrical issues now. They were professional from start to finish.

Overall, the experience has been good. Their responsiveness has been excellent, and their prices are reasonable. They’ve also been professional with the work and I’ve been pleased overall.

I needed to add some electrical outlets and got Ashpaugh's name from Angie's List. They came out quickly and did the requested work. As part of their process they offered me a bi-annual electric systems inspection. Since I did this inspection on my heating and airconditioning systems and since over the years several different electical providers had added outlet and circuits, this seemed like a good idea. Shane from Ashpaugh came out to do the inspection of every outlet in and outside of the house. This process was performed very effciently. The result was several areas where attention was required. Some areas were safety concerns; others Code violations. Shane work with me to prioritize the issues. He scheduled a time to come back to perform the items identified as the most serious. The remaining items will be done over time. Shane was most curteous and knowledgeable.

Service was prompt. Explained what was going on and what they would do to fix it and gave me cost. Very happy with service and the gentleman who came out, Wes. Definitely use them again.

He had to troubleshoot how to get the tv set up behind the fireplace and did a great job maneuvering around all those spaces. He was very flexible and professional.

Very good experience. I was given a 2 hour window that they would arrive to do the work. Right at the end of the window, I received a call from the office that they were running about an hour behind. I appreciated the courtesy of calling me and letting me know. They arrived exactly an hour later. The work was done within an hour and done well. I would definitely hire them again.

They were fantastic from start to finish. We had a lot of projects we wanted to do and they came out and gave a quote for each individual item and we were able to select what we wanted to do within our budget. The work ended up being more complicated than they anticipated and it took three days instead of one, but they stayed with the quote they gave us. The wall sconces were very difficult because they needed to work around the fire place and through plaster walls, but they took their time and did it right. The sconces look like original features. They were also very clean and did not leave a lot of mess. We wished we had used Ashpaugh for our prior projects because they do such a great job.

Customer service was great in setting up the appointment. Shane, the technician, arrived on time and completed all tasks. He cleaned up and left no mess behind. I was very pleased with the service provided and would definitely use again!
