The lady in the office who answers the phone and schedules appointments is very polite and efficient. Jim and Walt, the two electricians who did my work this time, were SUPER. I needed to have things done as efficiently and cheaply as possible and they made wonderful suggestions regarding how money could be saved by doing things a little differently. I wouldn't trust any other company to do electrical work in my house... they're that good and friendly and trustworthy. The bill for the work hasn't come yet, but I'm sure it will be reasonable.

Upon contacting the company and asking for an estimate, Steve Bryson came out and I explained what I thought we wanted in the basement, with the caveat that my wife might want to make changes before the plans were finalized. Steve wrote up the estimate and emailed it to us. We accepted the estimate, and Jim Pursell arrived shortly before 8 am on the scheduled morning. I told Jim that if he had any questions, he should work with my wife. While the initial estimate was three to four days, it actually took Jim, with additional help along the way, six days to complete the project. The extra days were partially my fault; I failed to fully explain a couple of items I wanted. Both items were corrected by Ashpaugh Electric. We are very impressed with the quality and professionalism of the electricians and quality of the finished project .

They did a great job. He was very precise with his estimate, they were on time, professional, and very polite. I called the owner, and he always returned my call immediately. It was nice having a contact person.

Fantastic job from start to finish. Steve is an experienced electrician who is now a sales consultant for Ashpaugh. He's a good communicator and could probably train new electricians. He responded quickly via both phone and e-mail. He came to our house twice: First was to give an original estimate, where he had responded to every item on the inspection report before even seeing the house. The second estimate was to add the cost of installing the new basement lights. Workers came right on time and finished all of the work in less than two days, when they had estimated two-and-a-half. They were courteous, professional, honest, and clean. I hardly noticed the new cable outlet in our bedroom till my wife pointed it out to me after I came home from work. All new wiring was fished behind the walls and through the attics. Everything new works perfectly. Most of all, the house is now safe and meets appropriate codes. This was an excellent investment in our new home.

Ashpaugh showed up when they were scheduled. They did a great job, kept the shed clean of debris and the gentlemen were very polite and easy to talk to each day.

THEY WERE GOOD, THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE, THEY CLEANED AFTER THEMSELVES, AND DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO.

They came on time and were pleasant, but didn't waste my time with idle chit-chat. They needed to come back, and did so on time and completed the installation quickly. I would definitely use them again.

Professionalism and high quality work.

Power was out in part of the house. Worked us in quickly and made the repairs and explained what had gone wrong. Had them look at another issue while there and that turned out to be more extensive. completed the repair. Later, power to a ceiling fan stopped. They returned and it turned out to be very minor.

They came out to look at it and realized that the problem was actually with the electrical box outside, which they informed us was the power companie's responsibility. They even took off $20 for being an Angie's List member, and I didn't even have to mention anything to them about it, which was great!

The workers did not show up with the right kind of cable, so they called Brian Ashpaugh, the owner. They left and Brian came out himself a few days later (going to the back door instead of the front), and it seemed that our house was a big problem. He said he would have an estimate in 2 or 3 days, and it took over 20 days. When he finally called, We told him we had already hired someone else, and the job was completed. He wanted to know who it was and how the service was. We didn't think that was his business. We have used them in the past for several jobs, and they were always good.

Excellent. An electrician from another company (also on Angie's List) came out but could not find the problem. He recommended that I contact a larger company. I contacted Ashpaugh. Their electrician came out on the scheduled day. When I was called thirty minutes prior to his arrival I came home and met him there. He took approximately 45 minutes to locate the problem and solve it. It was a very easy solution, but a difficult problem to isolate.

No problems arranging the service call. I called on Tuesday and had someone out on Friday (could have been Thursday if I had wanted). The electricians showed up in the time period specified and got the job done in 30 minutes. Definitely knew what they were doing and relabeled my electrical box to show the changes.

Besides the microwave line, I had them put a light in my pantry and that made a big difference.

A representative came out within the week and gave us a quote. The work was then completed the next week. The workers were very professional and neat. All tasks were completed exactly how we wanted and they cleaned up after themselves.

They were very responsive when I called to order the work. Their representative showed up on time and was very respectful and helpful. My husband commented that they did a great job with the install and followed instructions that we had given them. We even called them after the job was done as we were having difficulty with the newly installed lighting. They were very helpful and called me back promptly to answer my question.

They were supposed to fix an exterior pole light. We called around 8:30 the morning they were to come to check and make sure they would still come since it was raining. They were supposed to come between 8-12. They said yes, but never showed up. I've worked with them before and was pleased, but I am very disappointed with their lack of responsiveness this time.

I thought the office staff was wonderful. All workers were very professional. The final price was less than I thought it would be. We would use them again.

The serviceman was prompt and very personable. The work was completed exactly as requested. The next day we had a problem with the light switch and we notified the company. The following day the same serviceman returned to replace the switch. The day of the first service call I did notice a long scratch on our hard wood floor after the work was completed. The serviceman did put a drop cloth on the floor during the time he was working. I do think the scratch occurred while the job was being completed but precautions were taken to prevent damage to our floor.

Wonderful. Did an estimate for a great deal of work and only wanted a few things done now. Brian was very accepting and once the work was finished followed up to see how it went and whether we wanted to do the rest of the work. Brian is very professional and wonderful to work with.

All the work was done in one day as scheduled and as per the estimate. The technician was pleasant and he cleaned up the work area. Everything worked as predicted.

It was a good experience overall. It took a little longer than I expected. Between the owner and the guy who came out, they were so polite. I'm very picky about who comes into my house, and I was very comfortable with them. There was a problem with the fan that they installed, due to a faulty component. The owner himself came back out and fixed it immediately. They were very respectful of my home, and they cleaned up after themselves very well! They automatically brought the booties with them, even though I was expecting to provide them.
