We were very pleased with their work. They arrived during the time frame provided. They were very courteous and made sure that the light in the foyer was hung to our satisfaction.

Although they had difficulty finding replacement parts, the electrician was punctual and very professional.

Technician was prompt, worked quickly and quietly, and was professional.

Installer arrived on time and was both friendly and professional. He worked with the replacement light fixture to improvise a part that was missing from the box (saved me a trip back to the home store). He also took time to explain the set-up of the fan remotes and insured the 2 identical units were on different frequencies to avoid signal interference.

Great service. Showed up on time and was extremely cooperative and accommodating to small changes requested. Pleasant and professional. Could not be more satisfied.

Excellent, the repairman quickly diagnosed the problem. The problem was that a run of underground wiring had failed and the work involved trenching and replacing the wire. The repairman gave me detailed instruction on the steps to repair and I told him I would try to do it. He said to simply call them if I encountered any problems. I did not and then the bill I received was a pleasant surprise as the repairmen only charged a trip charge and nothing for the hour he spent at my house. We will certainly use Ashpaugh for all future electric work.

They were professional on the phone, but need more estimators. I understand illness can impact scheduling, but double scheduling also occurred.

I've used them more than once and I will continue to use them. They are my electrician of choice! Their standard trip charge is $70. They even gave me an Angie's List discount. I have worked with several electricians from this company within the last year and a half; all of them have been prompt, professional, and very helpful.

Very well - there was a cosmetic aspect to this - not just functional. The Ashpaugh reps are very polite and thorough. Great on clean up too.

The owner arrived on time to provide the winning estimate. When the day arrived, the service staff was here on time to do the work. They discovered that they needed an additional part for the breaker box, and agreed to come out again the next week when the plumber was scheduled to come out. They arrived on time the next week, and completed the installation. We were still billed for only the original estimate amount. I would hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

Met with the electrician, showed him the kitchen area and where the circuit breakers are at. He said that he would have to turn off the breaker for a little bit of time. I shut down the areas that where going to have no electricity. Let him know all was ready for him to shut off the electricity. Left the room, he pulled the dishwasher and did what he had to do. After he completed what he had to do in order for the electricity to be turned back on, he let me know. Then he completed the job for the circuit breaker for the dishwasher. When completed he swept up the area, he informed me of a leak under the sink, that I was not aware of and placed a sticker on the panel. I gave him the coupon and signed the form; he reminded me of the report on Angie s List and said that he would appreciate me completing it. Then he left.

Very well. The guy was on time (even a few minutes early). Was at the house for about an hour. He seemed polite and tried to help us as much as he could. He got the job done and even told us that the light fixture that we thought was sparking and too hot was fine. There was nothing wrong with the wiring like we thought.

I had a great experience with this company. First of all, the lady who took my call, Bethany, had such a warm and helpful voice (I think this is very important)! They were able to schedule my appointment exactly when I needed it. Jim showed up promptly. He was professional, courteous, and he did a great job. It's a pleasure to do business with nice people.

Very good experience. Office staff was pleasant and clear in setting up appointment and explaining cost structure. Electrician was very polite, pleasant, and unassuming. I called on a Tuesday, had the electrician here on Thursday. They were running early on their schedule that day and graciously called me to see if they could arrive early. Work was done quickly and to my satisfaction. Will definitely use these guys again.

Everything was great except for the price. They charge a $70.00 trip charge, a $4.00 surcharge, $160.00 for the the work, and $20.00 for the material.

Steve came out to do an estimate. He seemed extremely knowledgeable. He was very pleasant and professional and wasted no time. He was thorough and helpful. Gary and Brian came out to do the work. They were both professional and seemed capable. Gary was particularly jolly. Neither of them wasted any time. They wore booties to avoid tracking mud. Brian placed a tarp down to protect the rug from debris, but did not have a tarp to cover the bed nearby. This proved not to be a major problem; there was a very small amount of dust that was easily brushed off. Gary and Brian were a few minutes late after some problems with directions, but had called in advance to let me know the situation. It was a very positive experience. I have hired a half dozen or more companies for various work around the home and most have been very good. These guys were the best.

The work was scheduled for between 8AM and noon. I received a call around 7:30 and was told that someone would arrive in approximately 1/2 an hour. The employee (Gary) arrived at approximately 8:15 and went straight to work. I am very nervous when having someone in my home doing work, but he made us feel very relaxed and answered all questions without making us feel ignorant. We had other workers come in to lay a floor while he was still there, and he was very nice about it. If they bothered him, he did not show it. He was friendly, but professional. We are very pleased with the work and the final bill came to about $100 less than we had expected (based on their quote about hourly rates and additional fees). My husband and I highly recommend this company.

They arrived on time and completed the work as promised. Despite the difficulties of putting new wiring into an 80 year old house, they found a way to install the outlets where I wanted them with no interior conduits. They were professional and familiar with older construction. I will definitely hire them again.
