"Don went over and above the call of duty to make our home look like brand new! Our house was a dingy, algae covered mess and now it?s pristine. He knew just how to formulate his cleaning mix for our unique situation, even for a stubborn rust stain on the vinyl siding. Time, care and attention was paid to getting the job done right and we should?ve done it sooner! Anytime is the right time for a clean house."

"This is an owner team, and it shows in their ability and dedication. I needed cleaning of ducting for a bathroom exhaust fan and the dryer. Both turned out to be more difficult one could anticipate. The exhaust duct of the fan turned out to be filled with a nest of birds that came in through a broken vent cover. The work on the dryer duct uncovered poorly installed dryer exhaust hose. For both of them the technicians spent the extra time to find solutions, including a trip to a hardware store to get some parts to fix the issues. They also provided a lot of advice. Nice people, very courteous, pleasant to deal with."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Bleach isn’t the best choice to use while cleaning a refrigerator. Food absorbs odors, and bleach is known for its lingering smell, which can then lead to your fresh foods tasting off. Most people don’t safely dilute bleach, either. If you’re concerned about bacteria or mold from contaminated food, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends using a bleach solution of 1 tablespoon of bleach to 1 gallon of water for sanitizing. Be sure to let the fridge air out for an hour or more afterward to let the fumes dissipate.

A damp smell that lingers on the clothes after drying could be a result of staying in the washer too long or not drying all the way in the dryer. The best way to get damp smells out of clothes after drying them is to run them through the washer again. For stubborn smells, you can add scent boosters or use a laundry odor remover.

A toilet in a guest bathroom that doesn’t get used very often can usually be cleaned less frequently, but toilets that are used regularly should be cleaned every week. Cleaning your toilet more frequently than once per week is usually unnecessary.

To clean a trash can with maggots, combine chlorine bleach and hot water in a 1-to-1 ratio and pour about half a gallon of the solution into the bottom of your garbage can. Just make sure there aren’t holes in the can before doing so. Close the lid, and let the fumes go to work to kill the maggots. Rinse the can with a hose outside. Consider finishing up with a bleach disinfectant and a scrub brush before letting the can dry completely. You can also consider hiring an exterminator near you for a quick, easy solution to maggots in your garbage cans.

Professionals remove dust, allergens, and stains while preserving fabric integrity and enhancing the appearance of window treatments.
