Brent is very polite, punctual and professional. He was already on the roof when we arrived and from there he conducted a full inspection. He didn't waste any time but was still very personable and willing to explain everything he saw to my husband Kiel and I. obviously Brent is the expert but I can't imagine a more thorough inspection or write up. He had his report back us before 5 with pictures and full descriptions his findings. I fully recommend

Brent did an outstanding job assessing our newly purchased home. We bought out of state and were nervous to have the house assessed without one of us being present for the inspection. After reading Brent's reviews on Angie's List, I decided he was our best bet to inspect. Brent spent about 5 hours onsite for the initial inspection, ensuring a very comprehensive assessment of the house. My dad joined for part of the inspection time and was impressed with how thorough and detail-oriented Brent was. His report was very helpful and included an executive summary with the key items that must be fixed for safety purposes. Once the fixes were made, Brent came back out on a Sunday afternoon to accomodate our travel schedule and re-inspected the red tag items with us to ensure everything had been addressed. We highly recommend Brent and were especially pleased with what a thorough job he did even though we weren't able to be present for the initial inspection.

Brett was very professional. I am a first-time homebuyer, and he did a great job of explaining any issues that came up during the inspection. Also, he sent a complete report, with photos, on the same day. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection.

Brent was punctual, professional, prepared, and easily able to answer any question. His work is very thorough. Took notes and pictures as he goes throughout the process so nothing is missed for the report. The report was written and sent the same day. The experience was good. Brent, owner & inspector of Wren House Inspection was professional & thorough. He proved to us that he genuinely cares for his clients and provided an exceptional home inspection because he understands how important buying a new house is in the scheme of a person's life & the impact a home inspection has on the home buying process. He really looked out for us & found major and minor issues with the property; highlighting & explaining what to do. He also showed us how to operate certain utilities/mechanics that were new to us during the inspection. After the actual inspection concluded, he promptly provided us with an inspection report that was well outlined expediting the process of more negations with the sellers.

Brent was awesome. Usually you are not allowed to be present for an inspection or are only allowed to come for a summary of the issues at the end, but not with this company! Brent not only allowed but encouraged us to be present the entire time! His attention to detail was great. He also explained everything he was doing as he went through the inspection so we could understand the issues and know what would need to be addressed in the report. He took the time to answer any questions we had and also made sure we understood everything that was going to be noted in the report. He gave clear instructions as well. He was personable and kind too! He referred us to a great radon company for the additional testing we needed. If I need an inspector in the future, I will definitely use this company again and I would also recommend this company to anyone who asks! Great Job Brent!

Overall Brent was super accommodating and easy to work with. He worked with our busy work schedules to schedule a time, after normal business hours, to come out and inspect the place. Being our first home, we had several questions and Brent was very patient and did a great job explaining all the little issues we asked about. We received the report less than 24 hours after the inspection. The report itself was very easy to follow, with pictures and arrows explaining everything. I had called a couple different home inspection companies and I'm really happy that we went with Brent. It was really great being able to deal with the same person throughout the whole process, from the very first phone call. You just can't beat that kind of customer service.

After opening his laptop, he explained in detail what he inspected and what his findings were in order of importance. He too several pictures of items he found and used them in his very professional Inspection Report which we received the same evening. The report was so thorough that we did not have any questions about his findings or his recommendations. I was unable to attend the inspection myself, but the report was very thorough. He caught a LOT of faults with the property that I did not catch on my own when we viewed the property with our Realtor. His reporting saved me from moving forward with what would have been a massive rehab project and would have cost me far more than the value of the home. Brent was also extremely understanding and flexible with me when I had to reschedule the inspection due to issues getting the power turned on at the property. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will be using him again in the near future.

Fabulous experience. Brent is knowledgeable, professional, extremely thorough, and courteous. We arrived at the initial appointment to find him already at work inspecting the roof. He talked with us through the entire process, telling us what he was doing and noting any findings. He assured us that all of his finding would be included in the report and they were. The report was laid out well with details, and was very easy read. Things that needed the most attention were outlined on the first page, and things that were notable but not as important were discussed on subsequent pages. Most items had photos, some with arrows to point out particular things. It was worth every penny to have Brent inspect the house. Gave us much more peace of mind with the home buying process.. All of his findings and suggestions were very reasonable. He gave us a lot of good suggestions for our own home maintenance as well. We had quite a bit of follow up with him after our initial inspection. We contacted him to ask questions and he was very timely and helpful in his responses. Based on some water staining, we opted to have an air quality test done and he helped us to arrange that. We chose to have him come back and do a final re-inspection prior to our closing, and he was just as knowledgeable and thorough in that process, pointing out things we need to pay attention to. I would recommend highly to anyone considering purchasing a home . I believe he saved us a lot in costly repairs and offered us tremendous peace of mind.

He found serious foundation, electrical, plumbing, and drainage concerns that were not disclosed on the property. Had I not hired Brett, the damages to crawlspace would have cost thousands alone. I can only say that Brett's attention to detail, high quality reports with pictures are worth every cent! If you're buying a property and don't have him look at it first you'll be mad at yourself. A home inspection is a must!! Brett is top shelf so remember, you get what you pay for.

Brent worked my property into his schedule when weather was about to be too bad for a complete inspection. He arrived early and thoroughly inspected all areas of the house and yard, except for anything related to city water. I was told the water company turned the water on; but it wasn't on; so he had to come back another day after it was turned on. The original price was to be $250 with his work to be in one day, but it was another $100 for the second day he was there to check all water sources, fixtures, drains, and crawl space. He was professional and very helpful to explain everything. He explained his written report and what to look for in that. Included were very good photos of everything that showed detail and anything that needed repaired. The photos also showed gas and water shutoff valves and where filters should be placed. He answered a couple questions I had later. I would recommend Brent Wren, and so would my real estate agent.

Brent was a excellent home inspector. He walked through our new home and informed us of anything that was wrong and gave the best advice to the problems. He was professional in every way possible and friendly as well. My fiancé had the best experience with knowing that a professional took his time to look at everything that needed to be looked at and not rushed through just for the money. I would highly and definitely recommend Brent with the highest recommendation possible.

Brent was amazing. I don't like to use inspectors the realtors recommend. It just seams they have a reason to push through a closing. The last house I bought cost me $5000 in repairs because of the inspector. Brent was a breathe of fresh air! I found him on Angie's list and boy did he save us. He was thorough and honest. He pointed out the problems and we actually stopped the inspection an hour into it when he recommended a structural engineer. He only charged us $100 since we didn't need the report. We will most definitely use him when we find another house.

He was early, professional, and the provided report and pictures were perfect. When buying a home an inspection is a must, and I will continue to both use and recommend Brett to everyone. Brent was fantastic. He was very thorough, providing a report that was over 40 pages with lots of pictures to better show problem areas. He took the time to explain to us all of the issues and positives of the house. He was punctual and provided the written report in short order. Very thorough and clear on the many details that come with a home inspection. Brent went above and beyond by contacting a Radon Installation company to have them drop off a Radon Test on last minute notice. Overall very nice and timely response to all emails and telephone calls.

Brent spent nearly 4 hours methodically inspecting the house we are trying to purchase. When it comes to house inspections (perhaps especially on an older house such as this one (1948)) you're not looking for quick service! You want patient, un-rushed work and this is what Brent provided. I spent the entire time with him or within earshot and Brent took the time to point out specific findings--whether concerns or just observations--and answered many questions, demonstrating expertise and knowledge pertaining to a wide variety of home systems. Beyond that he was enjoyable to be around and we got the impression that he was really on our side...not in the sense of being against the sellers, but in the sense of taking seriously and empathetically what our concerns would naturally be, in many cases anticipating them. The report that was provided the next morning was appropriately long, detailed and included many relevant pictures. Additionally, Brent was quick to respond to several follow-up questions that we had in the next couple of days. His service is a great value. We were well-prepared for our inspection response to the home-seller and, should we successfully close on purchasing the property, we will be much better prepared to appropriately address it and maintain it than without Brent's excellent service.

Brent was able to fit me into his schedule on less than 24 hours notice. Granted, that can't happen all the time, but that was very convenient for me. Nonetheless, he did a great job with the inspection. He was thorough inside the house and the exterior. He noticed some small things that can have a big impact. He communicating what he was doing and what the issues were. He did a great job of explaining the severity of the issues within his scope of expertise, of course. The report was completed for me less than 12 hours after we started the inspection. I've used two other home inspection companies in recent years and will certainly be going with Brent again.
