Brent was on time, professional, thorough, very helpful and willing to go over and beyond to inspect hard to get to areas. We received our inspection report the same day which included detailed pictures with descriptions of all findings.

It went great. Not only am I an Angie's list member, I also work for Angie so I'm pretty well versed when it comes to service providers. Brent was friendly, informative and thorough. He even gave me an Angie's list discount without me asking for it. If schedule permits, go ahead and hire him...you will NOT be disappointed. I had a copy of the detailed inspection loaded with photos in my inbox within a couple hours.

Brent is truly a professional, upon meeting him you can clearly tell he knows what he is doing. This job is his element; he enjoys what he is doing. I was present for the inspection I saw first hand how meticulous this gentleman was he understood home code inside and out. He answered any questions I had and took time to make sure I understood them. The detailed report he gave us for icing on the cake it was very easy to read with detailed pictures pointed out the problems. I would 110% hire him again, thank you so much for the honest work you do!

Brent was outstanding. I contacted him during the week between Christmas and New Years. He responded to calls and emails promptly. He scheduled a time to look at the house and kept it. The home he inspected for me is older, and had a slew of issues. Brent didn't cut corners to get the report out quickly. He called me after the inspection to let me know that there was more than usual that needed to be put into the report and that while he normally gets reports out the same night, he might have to finish it the following morning. I told him that would be just fine, but he still got it to me later that night (after midnight). I was out of town during the inspection so I wasn't able to speak with him about the things he observed at the time. But the report was very thorough and Brent made it clear that he would be happy to speak with me about any questions I had after the inspection. I called him to follow up on the report and Brent spoke with me for almost an hour on a Saturday evening, answering all my questions and providing perspective on some of the problems with the house that he identified. In short, Brent was responsive, thorough, professional, and kind. I have nothing but very positive things to say.

Brent was awesome! We had the whole family in looking at the house and asking tons of questions and he was happy to answer them all. He was very thorough and explained in easy to understand detail. Would definitely work with him again in the future if we need home inspections.

Upon making an appointment with Wren House Inspection, Brent was very courteous and professional on the phone to set things up. He then sent me an email to confirm everything. On the day of the inspection, he showed up 5 minutes early and ready to go. The house is a relatively large 3 story house approximately 4000 sf. We started on the top floor and worked our way down. Brent was very easy to get along with and was happy to answer any question I had. He even gave me some advise on things that weren't in the scope of his profession. Brent went over the house with a fine toothed comb (not literally). He even found where a couple of tiny screw were missing. After the interior of the house was finished, he then braved the 50+ mph winds on a cold November day to inspect the roof. I didn't know if he would or not, but he did. All in all, Brent spent about 3 hours doing an excellent inspection of a house that we are trusting him to examine for us prior to spending a great deal of money on it. He exceeded my expectations! Within a few hours (by the evening), Brent had the inspection report finished and emailed to myself and our realtor. The inspection report is very detailed and ours was nearly 40 pages long (and we didn't have any major issues). I was extremely pleased with Brent and would definitely use him again and recommend him to friends and family.

We are purchasing a home and consulted Angie's List to select a home inspector. Wren Inspection had great reviews and they did not disappoint. Brent Wren performed the inspection. He was thorough, knowledgeable, communicative, and professional. He did a good job of showing and explaining any flagged items. The report was in our hands that evening. When I contacted Wren House Inspection LLC, Mr Wren said he was able to come to the house within about 4 days. I told him it was for a VA loan and they had very specific requirements for the water inspection. He said he was familiar with their terms and would be able to preform both inspections for me. Brent Wren arrived when scheduled, calling first to be sure the timing was still OK. He went through the house checking the baseboards for signs of termites, then into the attic. He wasn't fazed by the lack of pull down stairs and used my ladder to reach the attic. After a thorough inspection of the attic he went out back and into the crawl space to also crawl through this entire area. He made sure to re-secure the crawlspace covering then took several water samples from a sink in the garage. I was happy to see he cleaned the facet carefully since I seldom use this sink. He told me on the spot the termite inspection passed, and that he would be delivering the samples to the lab immediately. The termite report arrived by email that evening and the water report came two days later which is when he said it would. Mr Wren was neat, efficient, thorough and professional. My rate-lock will be up shortly for my loan, but I will meet the deadline easily thanks to responsive and dependable service by Mr. Wren. It can be difficult dealing with contracted work sometimes so it was a pleasure to have found Wren House Inspection on Angie's List, and for his service to live up to his excellent ratings.

I've been a part of three home inspections, now. Once when I bought my first home, the second when I sold it, and then this one on a potential purchase. I never had a complaint about the first two until after my experience with Wren. The knowledge, integrity, and thoroughness of Mr. Wren's inspection far surpassed those of the first two (both of which were performed by bigger and more established businesses in the Indy area.) The amount of effort he put into ensuring my understanding of the issues he found during the inspection was phenomenal. He never overplayed or downplayed any issues. Throughout the entire process Wren was very approachable and often times he was actively seeking me out so that he could explain and demonstrate his findings. He went above and beyond to describe certain idiosyncrasies of the home that would have undoubtedly taken me years to figure out on my own. AND his final report was extremely thorough and accessible containing numerous pictures and even video to illustrate his findings. Finally, Mr. Wren went out of his way to save me money on his inspection, including giving me an Angie's List discount that I was not aware of. I won't be using another home inspection service as long as Wren Inspections is around.

Brent is a great guy, and an excellent inspector. Not only would I recommend him and use him again, I have done both several times. This is the third home Brent has inspected for us and, per our recommendations, he has inspected two homes for family members. He is persistently punctual, polite, and professional, and has a great attention to detail. Brent's detailed reports with pictures not only point out potential issues, but give suggestions as to what further evaluations to have performed to get a full understanding of any remediation. While I hope not to go through the "joy" of house hunting any time in the next decade, if I must, I will rest easy knowing that I can call on Brent for the inspection.

Brent was excellent. He arrived ahead of schedule and was extremely thorough on his inspection. He took the time to point out and explain any red flags and even minor issues. He also showed us all of the shut offs, access points, etc. in the house that we should know about. He issued the report very quickly following the inspection and it covered everything we had discussed. His cost was less than the big name inspection companies and the quality and service was better. Bret from Wren House Inspections did a very detailed inspection of a home we are looking at purchasing. He did all the usual inspection things such as check the windows, outlets, water and etc but then thoroughly checked all the items that we as 5th time home buyers could not check ourselves. He took his time to make sure he inspected everything and made sure he explained all of his findings by taking us back through. There were lots of pictures so he could use those in the report to show what he had found. His report was ready within 24 hours and the report was very detailed but yet easy to read and very professional. We had him do all the testing we thought was necessary such as termite, radon, water testing (the house has a well), mold and then the inspection. I did not disclose the price because it is based on square footage and per test. I thought the cost was worth the service he provided. I don't think he is the cheapest out there, but this is a very large purchase and I wanted someone who could give us the type of inspection we could not do ourselves. Bret did a wonderful job and we would highly recommend his service.

Brent was fantastic! He was professional, thorough, and answered all of our questions. We do not have much experience purchasing houses, in fact this is our second property. Our first inspector was fair but I will use Brent for any properties I purchase in the future. He prepared and sent the report same day: I am unsure if this is a normal practice, but he knew of the tight timeline we are under and went above and beyond to accommodate us when he didn't have to. I would recommend Wren House Inspections without reservation for anyone needing a house inspection!

Brent is great to work with and very thorough. He has done 2 home inspections for us. One for a house that we backed out of the purchase, based on the amount of problems with it. And for the current house we are buying. As an example, the current owner's of the house offered to share another inspection report from a different buyer. But we choose to do our own inspection and the other report did not catch some major things that Brent found.

When I originally called Brent to conduct a home inspection for a newly purchased home, he was booked up past the date when I needed to have the inspection completed. He was willing to work me in to his busy schedule. When he arrived for the inspection he was very professional and thorough and did not give any indication of being rushed or hurrying to get to the next job. After the inspection, Brent answered questions that I had and was very prompt in sending the completed report the same evening. He took lots of pictures to show areas that were noted in the report. Brent is very professional but also laid back and super approachable, open and honest. He was always on time or early and was flexible with his schedule when we absolutely needed him to move up an inspection so we could close on time. His advise got us a lot of value out of our new home as the sellers added a lot of expensive fixes. The price we paid was for a large house 5k+sq ft. and included additional air quality/mold and radon testing. Our return on investment was excellent.

Outstanding. We picked Brent because his ratings were so high so we had high expectations. And he came through. We have lived in many houses and had probably 1/2 inspections done and his service was by far and away the best. Instead of a quick one hour jaunt, he spent several hours checking everything: crawl space, attic, roof, electric, doors. His report had pictures and details of exactly what needed done and what type of certified repair person should do the work. He came up with quite a bit of work that needed done and saved us from moving into a house blindly. We like him so much we are bringing him back for our final walk through before closing.
