"On 2/16 Steam Master came out to clean our carpets and they refused to clean them. B&C Carpet Care was recommended by our banker. Bob came out and worked 4 hours and did an amazing job. Some of the stains from dog urine did not come out, which was expected. House smells great and floors are amazingly clean.

"Service Master in Greencastle provides excellent service. This is the 3rd time I’ve hired them and am never disappointed. They arrive on time, professional, and do excellent work. I hired them to clean outdoor cushions on a patio set . The cushions were good quality but very dirty from previous owners. Service Master cleaned them good as new ! Very happy with this business."

"I hired Yahweh Cleaning Company for a deep clean at my house, and I was honestly impressed with the results. The team was professional, on time, and paid attention to details most companies usually miss. My bathrooms, kitchen, and floors looked spotless. Communication was great from start to finish, and the pricing was fair for the quality of work provided. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy cleaning services."

"I came home from work to find our furnace had not been running while I was away. With the particularly cold weather we'd been having I started looking immediately. Because our furnace unit is a bit older I was concerned that picking just any company would mean being told that we would just have to have the unit replaced. My mother in law recommended Dugan Air because she too has an older system they had worked on her heating and air conditioning before. I looked them up to see what kind of ratings and if there were any deals available.
Satisfied with the reviews I read I contacted them through Angie's List and was pleased to see a response back quickly. I was offered a couple of options to come out and take a look as well as contact information should I need it. The communication was wonderful.
We scheduled them to come out and take a look the next morning. He diagnosed that the unit had been running on electrical power only when the heat pump outside failed to kick on and so burned out the fuse on the furnace. He took a look at the heat pump outside and made some adjustments to it then came in to replace the fuse. Unfortunately he did not have a replacement fuse that would work so he told us he would return that Friday, Monday at the latest, with the part to replace it with.
I was mildly disappointed we would not have the furnace up and running for a couple more days but we understood that parts are not as easy to get a hold of for older systems. The next day however he called up letting us know he'd gotten the part we need and if we were available he could come by and install it for us. He could very well have waited and come when he had quoted us, but he didn't and for that we were impressed with the service. Though the cost was a bit more than I would have liked to have paid it seemed reasonable.
He installed the part and gave us some advice on the unit. He cautioned that we would likely need to get it replaced before long and gave us some honest advice on systems we might want to consider, even quoting us their price to replace the system in case we might be interested down the line. He also gave us some tips to improve our system that would not require having them do any work.
He was courteous, punctual and extremely helpful. I even received a follow up message from them to see how everything went. I would recommend their service to anyone looking to get work done on their heating and air conditioning unit."

Sonic Cleaning FAQs, answered by experts

The cost of removing snow from a roof averages between $300 and $700. However, this cost can range from $200 to $3,000, depending on the size of your roof, the amount of snow, and roof accessibility.

Since snowfall can range from light powder to heavy and condensed snow, part of the price of roof snow removal depends on the amount and type of snow. For 12 inches of snow, you can expect to pay between $200 and $2,000 for this job. However, for 24 inches of snow, that price rises to $300 to $3,000.

Roof raking helps clear snowfall from your roof and, in turn, you hope that this prevents ice dams. But can roof raking actually cause them? Generally, no, it cannot. But you should note that while, in some cases, you might successfully prevent ice dams from forming near the edge of your roof by keeping it cleared with a roof rake, they could still form higher up on the roof, where you are unable to reach. This may leave you wondering: Does roof raking prevent ice dams? While it is not a 100% guaranteed way to prevent them, it does help.

Moss grows in dark areas of roofs, including in corners and gutters. If left alone, it can grow under roofing and cause permanent damage. Here’s how to remove moss from metal roofs:

  • Soak the moss to soften it

  • Scrub it away with a soft-bristled brush, or pick it off with your hands (be sure to wear gloves)

  • Use a moss remover that’s compatible with metal roofing, following the manufacturer’s directions

  • Remove dead moss and rinse the roof thoroughly

  • Prevent future moss growth by trimming branches, cleaning gutters, and attaching zinc strips to moss-prone areas

You could void your roof warranty using a power washer if you have a newer roof. With an older roof, you could knock loose older shingles. On the other hand, some people safely use a pressure washer to remove moss from a metal roof. Although you may want to use a pressure washer, the truth is that you probably don’t need it to knock moss loose. A garden hose and brush will do the job just fine and in a safer manner than a pressure washer.

Roof cleaning isn’t a necessity, but it can drastically improve your home’s curb appeal and even prolong the life of your roof, so it’s often a great investment. It’s especially a good idea if shaded parts of your roof experience algae or moss growth, which can damage the shingles and hold water against them, increasing the risk of a roof leak.
