Called him because he had a coupon for free trip charge for $69.00 if you lived north of 96th street. He came that very day. Seemed rushed and in a hurry. I had already purchased the monitor. He was here for around 20 minutes and charged me $71.35. I think he is too high.

Mike installed a ceiling fan and lighting in our screened-in porch. The peak of the ceiling is very high and Mike had the proper tools and ladder to do the job. He took my call on the first try and came to the house within 30 minutes. He quoted a price and performed the work in about an hour. What a refreshing experience! We will definitely call on Mike for future electrical work.

My experience we excellent. They took on this project that no one else, and I tried many companies on the List, was willing to do. They were willing to think out of the box and find a solution that no other service provider would do. It was a brand new generator panel with a brand name generator that was installed in the home. They took the time to research possible solutions that no one else would do. The generator was not wired properly when the generator was installed, and they were willing to fix the mistakes that were made about one year ago. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. They were absolutely punctual. They are easy to get a hold of and will take the time to answer your questions. They took around 3-4 hours to do the job, and I am very happy with their work. I would definitely use them again.

I called Mike Inger at the number in the Angies Listing. He answered, said he was only minutes away and could come over. He showed up in 10 minutes, introduced himself. I described the problem - pool cover motor was tripping the GFI every time we tried to use it, but the fountain that was attached to that outlet would run (unless we tried to use the pool cover). When I tried the pool cover (we had been using an extension cord to a different outlet most of the summer), of course it worked (much to my disappointment). He asked me when the last time the GFI was replaced - answer was never (house is 17 years old). He said it might be weak and if I wanted him to, he could replace it. I said yes and he replaced it. Had to run to the store to get a "box extension" as the new GFI and the ground wire he added - yes that's right, the old one was not directly grounded) would not fit into the box without tripping the fuse box breaker. Once he had the extension in place, it all worked perfectly. He examined the breaker and said it was an old model and did not match the rest of the breakers (which I could see). He offered to replace it and I said yes. While doing that, he noticed that they had a 15 amp wire coming to a 20 amp breaker (which could cause a fire if the wire melted before the breaker tripped). He put the proper amp breaker in and then we totalled the bill and he was gone. No trip charge as he knew I was an Angie's List customer. I would highly recommend this company and will use him again when I need electrical work done.

I purchased a light to add to our outdoor ceiling fan. The install, that I performed, was very simple. Other than it didn't work. So I called an electrician to come help me, and I didn't hear back from him for over 24 hours. I decided to call Mike Inger and reached him immediately. After explaining my situation over the phone, he was pretty certain what the solution was. He arrived later the same afternoon and corrected the problem. While he was here, I had some other questions regarding some electrical work and needed his opinion on possible options. Mike was very thorough in explaining his reasoning and he was extremely helpful in my thought process. This was the 1st time I used Mike for electrical work, and I was very pleased. I will call him next time I need help.

Our Heat Pump stopped working and we had a HVAC repair company come and look at it. They determined that it was an electrical issue that they could not fix and that we would need to call an electrician. My wife found Mike's company and it's high marks in Angie's List. I called him and he was able to get to our house in less time than he said (about 45 minutes). After much troubleshooting and a lot of hard work from Mike, he was able to find the issue. The really poor wiring that was done by our HVAC company was the problem. Mike was able to quickly resolve this issue and our AC was restored!! Mike was also kind enough to tell me of a couple electrical issues we're probably not up to code and would not pass a home inspection. I would use Mike again. He really knows his stuff and he does good work and he works hard while he's on the job.

Michael was on time and very professional. He almost ran from one spot to another. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well. I have already recommended him to several friends.

Mike was very prompt and extremely knowledgeable. He focused on what is the most cost effective and compliant (within building code.) He provided a quote on the spot that was very reasonable that included all the parts. Mike worked very fast and was attentive to minimize the mess (the project involved cutting holes in the ceiling drywall.)

The electircal panel in the house went out on a Friday night. I called Mr. Inger and he came out that night to try and fix the issue. The electrical panel was out dated and needed replaced. He came back the next day (Saturday) and replaced the panel box with new amps. He did an awesome job and a very reasonable price. He did such a great job we had him out a month later to run electrical for ceiling fans, and he installed the fans. You can not ask for a better electrician.

The entire job went very well. I even have an added benefit of lighting for my INVITED guests.

I was pleased. He was good at explain what he was doing and why.

Mr. Inger came out that afternoon. He identified the problem and took care of it, including clean up.

Everything went smoothly. He checked to make certain there wasn't any major problem. Decided that the outside outlet needed to be replaced. It was replaced, and all was good.

This is the first time we ever used Mike and it was an awesome experience. We sold our house recently and had some electrical issues noted by an inspector for the buyer. When Mike came out and looked at the first issue, he immediately saw that there was no issue. The inspector said there was no grounding on the outside and he was wrong. Mike quickly pointed out the grounding wires and then went back into the garage and took the panel off the main box to verify. Sure enough, there it was. No work needed to be done there. He looked at the second problem and agreed that there could be improvement and told me clearly what he needed to do. I accepted his estimate and he said he would be back on Friday morning to fix. Promptly on Friday morning Mike showed up to do the work and was done in no time. He supplied me with the paperwork I needed for closing on my house that afternoon via email. I wish more companies were like Mike's. I will definitely be calling Mike for any work to be done on the new house we just bought. Mike is awesome!

It turned out fine. He was prompt and worked very quickly. He did what he said he could do.

I called around for electricians and didn't receive calls back from other electricians. He answered his phone and came out for an estimate right away. He made a couple suggestions on how to modify the outlet and came back a couple days later and completed the work. He was quick and efficient. We have some more electrical to do and will definitely call him back for the work.

I called Mike to help wire some new GFI outlets and troubleshoot a circuit that kept tripping. He was thankfully available first thing that morning and was to my house within the hour. He installed 2 GFI outlets, re-wired an outlet that was crossed, and changed one GFI outlet to a regular outlet, since according to code it didn't need to be that way. He was extremely knowledgable and took the time to teach me and walk me through what he was doing so that I better understood in the future. Mike is a great guy and is worth giving a call for a quote!

Mike was great, came out of estimate first, when came out to do job. Other company quoted strictly from phone call, twice the amount. Mike and co-workers were on time, professional, and reasonable. I will call him for all our electric needs in future.

Mr Inger came out and gave us an estimate on all of the work that we wanted to get done in our home. At that time he explained to us what he would need to do to run the electrical lines, insert the junction boxes and run trouble-shooting maintenance on the 4 light switches. Very thorough, listened to what we wanted to do and gave us ideas about how we could do it better. We accepted his estimate, set up the appointment, and he and John were here right on time and went to work right away. Always had safety in mind, ensuring electricity was turned off in the main box. He was very thorough with his work and he and John worked really well together. Thanks to Mike and John, now we know what all of the switches are for and what they can do. Also saved us from a bad re-wiring job that was an accident waiting to happen. He accomplished everything that we needed him to do and finished 45 minutes earlier than he had give us in his estimate.

Mike (Inger Electrical) was very professional and knowledgeable. After installing the electrical panel, we walked through the house and Mike helped us correctly label the new panel. Mike was thorough, and finished all electrical tasks with quality and safety in mind. Great price for excellent work!

After ordering a new gas range to replace our existing electric one we realized that only a 220V outlet was available directly behind the range. We called Inger and scheduled for someone to come out in a couple of days to complete the work. They were very prompt and helpful in determining the type of breaker/etc that would be needed to complete the work in one trip. When the range was delivered the installers were able to route the cord to a nearby outlet in such a way that it was not visible. We felt bad canceling our appointment on such short notice after Inger had squeezed us in, but Mike was very understanding and thanked us for letting him know. We will definitely call again the next time we need electrical work done.

Had great solutions and did a great job. Cleaned everything up, no mess. would defintety use again

He was just quick, fair, and thorough. He checked everything to make sure it was working after he had fixed everything. I would definitely recommend them to others.
