One portion of kitchen lights blew all at once. We were unable to get breaker switch reset. Called Mike this morning and he came as soon as he was finished with present appointment. Once he showed us how to reset breaker we had him check most of our electrical outlets to see if they were up to code. While he was checking, he found a faulty switch we have been having problems with and replaced it. Made suggestions as what needed to be fixed and what was OK as is. Not only is Mike the most knowledgeable electrician we have ever had, he patiently explained things we did not understand in a manner that made sense. He has the utmost integrity. I will never use anyone else.

Quick to get out there. Always on time, explains things. Every time I have an electrical problem I use him and would recommend him. I would never call anyone else for an electrical problems.

It went very well. All of the work was handled professionally and we were pleased with the service. Very responsive. I plan to hire Mr. Inger again for another project.

We had another company out that recommended we call an electrician. Michael was the technician that came out and he was able to get it fixed in short order. I couldn't have asked for better service.

and got himself set up to Mike came over about 15 minutes before the appointed time to upgrade the circuit. He was in and out in about 2 hours. My wife and I were very pleased with the work he did in such a quick manner and at a very reasonable price. Mike had to run heavier gauge wire from the main electrical panel to the connection point for the cook top. Mike had to go up, across, down, then up with the wiring. Made me think of going to grandmother's house. The job was neat and clean, no mess was left behind. The best part of it was, once the cook top was in place and the power turned on, we cooked dinner on our new cook top. To top if off, Mike asked if we had any other problems, which Mike took care of in about 10 minutes at no extra charge. We have used Mike's services a number of times with the same result. The work is done in a professional manner, no mess to clean up after all done at a reasonable price. We will continue to use Mike for all our electrical work and any other contractors he suggests. He installed a ceiling fan and even went to get an extra part for it. It went smoothly and the results were great.

The heater burned out of our unit and found one similiar to ares to replace it, he tried to save us some money by taking extra steps to try and repair the unit but could not in the end. We were very pleased with his service. I found Inger electric on Angie's List. We were pleased with the promptness of the service.

Mr. Inger was incredibly fast to provide us with an estimate to replace a 30 year old ceiling fan (yes, it ran for 30 years! A Hunter Olde Tyme Original!) in our vaulted 3-season enclosed porch, to replace a hardwired smoke detector, and to repair a wall switch. His estimate being reasonable, we scheduled to have the work done 5 days later. In the mean time, Mr. Inger advised me to purchase a new downrod for the fan as he suspected that the old one would not be interchangeable with the new one. On the scheduled date of installation Mr. Inger called ahead of time and arrived promptly and eager to begin work. The ceiling fan was a bit of a teaser and required a little creativity, but Mr. Inger was tenacious and got the job done. Ultimately, the new downrod wasn't needed, but no big deal as I was able to return it. New fan is running great, wall switch is fixed and new smoke detector is hopefully doing it's job! We have no complaints with Mr. Inger's work. We appreciate his timeliness, ability to keep his appointments, and his overall work ethic. I would hire him again without hesitation.

I called for an estimate on a GFCI outlet repair. Mike said it would take him an hour to get to me, so he suggested I call someone closer to Zionsville. I explained that he has a coupon on Angie's List for a free trip charge if north of 96th St. He said that is only if there is over $200 or work to be done...that the coupon should be more specific. He was very nice and I understand that he would lose money doing the job I needed done. I don't know who is responsible for how the coupon reads, but it is obviously misleading. I could have saved my time and Mike's if the coupon read correctly.

He came out within an hour after we had called him on his way home from another call. He also talked IPL service through what needed to be done.

During the walk through, prior to his estimate, we were most impressed with Mike's knowledge of electrical-related devices and their proper working parameters. He was very, very knowledgeable of the mid-1980's Sylvania electrical panel that had proven problematic over the years and its need for a complete replacement. Mike arrived early for the day's work, ready to go to work. He'd handled the ordering of multiple parts, including a new 200 amp electrical panel, plus had scheduled IPL to remove their meter during his work and to put it back upon that work's completion. I believe that Mike proved, that day, that he's a true craftsman and really cares about any work that he does. Except for a short lunch break, he was on the job for eight plus hours, doing every single thing that he had be asked to do, plus a few additional ones. We now can sleeps much easier knowing that multiple, potential electrical problems are no more.

I have had many experiences where companies representing different trades have given me outrageous quotes for work believing that because I am a senior citizen they can take advantage. It was so refreshing to talk to Mike today. He was so helpful. and very honest. Thank you,Mike.

I was in a "pickle" and needed sophisticated electrical thinking and workmanship in a hurry. Fortunately, Angie's Concierge service introduced us to Mr. Mike Inger, Owner of Inger Electric, who met me at our house (under renovation and closing in two weeks). Not only was Mike on time, he called me, when he was underway to tell me he was going to be early. Mike was coming to figure an estimate - instead, he walked through the house with me, covering every every inch of the inspection report specifying work to be done under the aegis of a "licensed, qualified electrical contractor". It took about two hours. Mike made suggestions along the way, pulled out his National Electrical Code book (he calls it his "Code Book for Dummies") to show me how we could meet the code's requirements and after a few moments thinking and configuring in his head came up with a price that I accepted on the spot. Mike had to arrange for the City and State permit to change the panel and call IPL to arrange to pull the metre at the appropriate time. Also important Mike would do the work himself with his Assistant (also a licensed electrician). Mike is a graduate electrical engineer as well as an experienced, qualified and licensed (he'll show it to you) electrician. So, he and his Assistant were waiting for me, when I arrived on the job about 7 minutes after 8:00 AM on Monday morning 9/23. Mike knew what he intended to accomplish on Monday and knew how he was going to complete the work at the end of business on Tuesday. He called me to come over to discuss several issues on which we agreed and he wrapped it up on time and even came in under budget. If you have electrical work and you want smart help to do your work right the first time for a fair price, I recommend you call Mike Inger.

Mike was great every step of the way. He has been very responsive by phone or text ever since I first called him to schedule an appointment for an estimate (which he did at no charge). I was home all day when he was out and he not only took care of adding our breaker, but also was very open in sharing advice on what I needed to do to update all our light switches and outlets (which I am doing myself). He has been very prompt, seems to work quickly, and I believe his prices are fair. I would definitely call him back for more work in the future (and may have to if I screw up these lights).

He was very quick and thorough with his inspection as well. He arrived on time.
