My refrigerator went out, so I had to find one very quickly.  I purchased a scratch and dent refrigerator, which was on site, as well as
the matching gas stove, and over the range microwave. I set the delivery up for the following day, as I don't have anything big enough to move a refrigerator.
The microwave and stove were delivered fairly early in the day.  The stove had a massive dent in the top panel, which was replaced by H.H. Gregg after calling the store manager about it.  About 6:00pm I called H.H. Gregg to find out why my refrigerator hadn't been delivered yet.  The customer service representative told me it had been taken from Anderson, and shipped to the "delivery hub" in Indianapolis.  This was said to be standard procedure, although it makes no sense to haul an appliance out of town, only to bring it back the next day for the sake of protocol.
I contacted the store manager and told her what was happening.  She told me there was nothing they could do at that point in time.  When I brought up the fact I had food steadily thawing out in my refrigerator and freezer, she said she would have to talk to the district manager about it.  After hearing this, and realizing what a drawn-out, indecisive, uphill battle it was going to be, I began throwing the food away.  I took pictures of everything as I discarded it to show the district manager and be able to come up with a fair value.  The meat alone (which has price stickers on it) totaled to over $250.00.
After about a week of badgering the store manager, and being dodged by the district manager, I was told I would receive a check for $150.00 for food replacement.
