Excellent, Mike Lyons is always early to appointments. He gets to work right away and takes the time to show the new homeowner to be how to operate systems, he explains what he is looking at and why and what items might need attention in future..sort of like a roadmap to owning a home. His attention to detail and easy demeanor are a real plus.

Outstanding. They say you get what you pay for and with Mike and MJG that couldn't be farther from the truth in a very good way. While I thought the price was a little higher than I remembered in the past, I'd pay it again given the detail and thoroughness Mike provided us. Being this has been my 3rd inspection since I've owned homes, I have seen varieties, but won't look anywhere else if I need to do it again in the future. MJG was awesome - explaining everything at the house, using advanced imaging for behind the scenes issues, and following up via email w/ answer to additional questions. I highly recommend MJG!!

Way above my expectations. Michael was very thorough, professional, patient and has a great sense of humor. I felt comfortable asking him about things I had no clue about and I also felt he was trustworthy with the information he shared. And when I became overwhelmed with all the information he was providing during the inspection, he assured me that all the photos and details would be in the email. The emailed report was also well above expectations. I am extremely greatful that my realtor suggested him and because of him I trust my realtor even more. We were fortunate enough to work with Mr. Michael Lyons from MJG who went through the house with a fine tooth comb. He presented to us his findings, was very patient with our questions and explained realistic next steps to us as the home buyers in a manner that showed he truly cared about our family’s well-being. Overall the home inspection went great! Mike was very professional and thorough. He was very personable and polite. He explained everthing in a manner that could be understood by everybody in the room. He showed us exactly what he was doing and what he was checking for. Mike was very knowledgable about his job and took the time to give some answers and opinions on any questions that i had. I would definitely ask mike to inspect any other property in the future.

We hired Michael because of a reference we got from our real estate agent. My husband and I still can't get over how thorough he was as he went through the house. He is very organized and you can tell that he really knows what he is talking about. Michael was able to explain all of his findings and he was able to answer any questions we had. Fantastic. Mike arrived early. He was courteous to the home owner. performed a complete inspection. Detailed report emailed within hours of finishing. Second home we used MJG to inspect. He has all the tools including moisture detection and aerial drone.

phenomenal! Michael showed up 30 min early and starting inspecting on the outside of the property. The inspection lasted 2 hrs beyond the scheduled time. He was extremely thorough. Even discovered a loose handle on one of the hundred drawers in the house. He crawled every inch of various 50 yards of crawlspace. He walked the whole 2 acre property. Very knowledgeable. Will be using his services again and again and recommend to everyone.

If I had to describe MJG Home Inspections in one word it would be "True Professional". Sorry, that was two words...I couldn't do it in one word! Michael returns inquires very promptly within 1 business day. I had a short time frame to get the inspections done, and he was able to complete the inspections within a couple of days. He arrived onsite as scheduled, explained his methodology and process for inspecting a home, and allowed me to follow him throughout. Michael brings a safety minded personality to the inspection process; this is undoubtedly attributed to his firefighter background. He is EXTREMELY thorough in the inspection process including outside grounds, roof, attic, basements, plumbing, electric, HVAC, and all mechanicals. He identifies minor and major problems, and recommends potential solutions, especially if safety is involved. Upon conclusion of the inspection, he provides a verbal review and follows up with a very thorough written inspection with photos and comments. His entire process is fully automated including communications, estimate, contract, payment, and inspection. He follows up at each step of the process to make sure the customer understands. His communication is professional, yet, he also explains in layman's terms if needed. In summary, as I expand my small business in property acquisition in rehabbing and rentals, MJG Home Inspections is the only inspector I plan on using in the future. He is really that good.
