"The team did a great job! They arrived promptly as planned and quickly removed the wallpaper. They cleaned the walls and repainted. The results look great - very clean and neat. They finished the job quickly, were polite and personable, and I would definitely hire them again. Thank you"

"Our experience with 360° Painting was perfect from start to finish. The owner, Mike, made time to come quote the job shortly after receiving our request and did a great job helping us understand what would work best for the intricate, compact, well-lit space where errors or carelessness would be super noticeable. We felt at ease after meeting with Mike and believed that his team would do a fantastic job. Leading up to the scheduled painting date, Mike checked in to make sure the painter, Jose, and we had everything we needed to ensure we were prepared and that all would go smoothly. The job itself took 2 days and Mike stopped by mid-way through to make sure everything was going well. He also walked the job with us after it was complete to confirm that we were happy with the end results. His communication was so thorough and really made us feel certain that we had hired the right company. Jose did an incredible job with the painting itself - he is clearly a highly capable, detail-oriented, meticulous, but still efficient painter. He is a very nice man, extremely professional and took good care of our home while he was working here. A huge bonus was that Mike was able to squeeze us in before the holiday, which was so helpful given that we'll have guests. We've been putting off painting this room for an embarrassingly long time due to the level of detail required and our concern that it wouldn't come out well, but now wish we'd hired 360° Painting much sooner. Thank you to Mike and Jose for a wonderful experience - we couldn't possibly be more thrilled with how the room looks and can't wait to share it with our guests very soon. We will definitely use 360° again and will happily refer them to family, friends & neighbors. If you're looking for a highly competent painter and a fantastic customer experience, hire Mike and his team immediately!"

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

When comparing peel-and-stick and traditional wallpaper, the better choice depends on your specific needs and space. Peel-and-stick wallpaper is more budget-friendly and easier to DIY install. On the other hand, traditional wallpaper lasts much longer and holds up better in a wider variety of spaces, including areas with moisture like kitchens and bathrooms.

If you can already see the texture of the existing wallpaper through the layer of paint, then the texture could also come through the new layer of wallpaper. If that’s the aesthetic you want, then proceed. But if you want a smoother surface, you should either strip off the existing paint and wallpaper or hang a layer of liner paper before proceeding.

Your peel-and-stick wallpaper can fall off for multiple reasons, including high humidity levels, extreme temperature changes, poor installation, and even the wall surface. Textured walls can prevent the adhesive from fully sticking to the wall, making it more likely for the wallpaper to peel off. Low-quality wallpapers with weaker adhesives are also more likely to fall off prematurely.

While peel-and-stick wallpapers require no time to cure, the adhesives for other types of papers will take a day or two to dry and up to three weeks to fully cure. The differences are the type of paper, the type of adhesive, and the humidity and temperature in the space.

Yes, you can apply peel-and-stick wallpaper over wood paneling, but it requires significant preparation for a good result. Peel-and-stick wallpaper has a weaker adhesive than traditional wallpaper and works best on smooth, non-textured surfaces like painted or primed drywall. Because wood paneling is often textured with grooves, any flaws in the underlying surface will likely be visible after application. To prepare the paneling, you must ensure the surface is free of cracks, holes, and protrusions by filling any indentations and sanding rough spots to create a smooth surface. An alternative is to remove the paneling and apply the wallpaper directly to the underlying drywall or plaster, provided it is in good condition.
