"I was on the market for a security system and this one seemed easy enough to install.......went through the process and some of the window sensors were not working. I called Customer Support who was very friendly and we went through the entire process again...this time other window sensors did not work. This went on for a week or so...then the door senors stopped working....than the motion sensor stopped working...at no time in over a month did I have a fully operational security system. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."

We install window tinting on all makes and models of vehicles, commercial buildings, and residential homes to aid in reduced glare, UV protection, and heat reduction. Several varieties of films are available in multiple shades. We also install paint protection film on vehicles, also known as a clear bra, to protect against rock chips, bug acids, tree sap, and minor scratches and abrasions.

We install window tinting on all makes and models of vehicles, commercial buildings, and residential homes to aid in reduced glare, UV protection, and heat reduction. Several varieties of films are available in multiple shades. We also install paint protection film on vehicles, also known as a clear bra, to protect against rock chips, bug acids, tree sap, and minor scratches and abrasions.

Window Tinting questions, answered by experts

On average, professionally applied residential window tinting can last anywhere from five to 25 years. The quality of the film material and installation help to determine if film will stay. In addition, gently cleaning windows with film can increase their longevity. Harsh and abrasive cleaners, alcohol-based and ammonia-based cleaners, and sharp scraping tools and scrubbers can all prematurely destroy the film's surface. Use a microfiber towel and gentle cleaning solutions to get rid of dirt and residue to prolong a tint's lifespan.

However, applying security film is relatively inexpensive, and it can make breaking into your home significantly harder—often hard enough to deter burglars entirely—and keep your window from shattering on your floor after impact. For these reasons, window security film is often a worthwhile investment that helps protect your property.

If your window film doesn’t come with an installation kit and its own application solution, you can make your own—but don’t use soap! Instead, use 1 teaspoon of baby shampoo mixed with a gallon of bottled water. Make sure the bucket in which you mix this solution is completely clean.

Solar screens reduce glare and block UV rays, which may slightly dim natural light and alter the view from inside. However, most homeowners find the trade-off worthwhile for improved comfort and energy savings. The impact depends on the screen’s color and density, with darker screens blocking more light but providing enhanced glare reduction and privacy.
