I called the company to schedule a warranty service/repair for my Kohler residential standby generator. The company is a local authorized service provider for Kohler residential standby generators. The company was able to schedule a repair appointment with me within 24 hours. The technician showed up on time and fixed the problem. Since my generator is still under manufacturer's warranty, I was not required to pay anything for the service/repair. If needed, I would use the company again.

Since the install, we receive a yearly phone call to schedule an oil change and maintenance. I appreciate this service since I have so many other things to remember. The maintenance people over the past 7 years have been professional, on-time, (because who wants to waste half a day waiting for repair person or contractor) and complete all the necessary work. They always take the time to help if I have questions. I have received excellent customer service each time I contacted their office.
MPower is a proactive company. We were contacted after several intervals of power-outages in a row, in our area. They checked-in to make sure that the generator was operating properly after such heavy use.
It's a pleasure referring friends to MPower because the feedback is always positive.

This company (actually a previous company owned by the owner of this company) installed my generator. Generators are expensive so you expect them to work in the event of a power outage. This generator has been nothing short of a constant repair job. One after another. My most recent experience with this company was that once again my generator didn't work so the repair man came out and did some repair and then said there is something here that needs to be repaired but don't worry it's covered by warranty. Well when they came to repair the part I discovered the part was covered by warranty but the labor was not. I called to complain because I felt that should have been divulged before I ordered the part, not that I wouldn't have ordered it. When I called to complain I was told that I should know the warranty and I should know all the appliance warranties in my house. i felt that when I am told something is covered by warranty that it should be 100% covered! Seriously--who knows all the warranties on their house?? Maybe I caught the guy on a bad day but I thought he was very rude!

"I am disappointed that the Member is not satisfied with our work. She was a valued customer when I installed her generator with the company I worked for in 2008; and was a valued customer with the current company I co-own. If there are other problems with the system, I would like to know, as they may also be covered by her manufacturer’s warranty. The repair we completed was for the main control panel in her generator. The warranty on her generator covers parts and labor for the first 2 years; and parts only on the remaining 3 years. Unfortunately, the Member was outside the portion of her warranty that covers labor ($170.00). The good news was we saved her $700.00 on the part that was replaced by the warranty. This is always explained to our customers before we make a repair. We have built our business mostly on referrals, we do very little advertising. I’ve found by treating customers fairly, honestly and with integrity it pays larger dividends than any advertising we could buy. We simply treat our customers the way we would like to be treated. As a result, we are one of the most recognized dealers by our manufacturer- Kohler Power Systems. The repair was made in September of 2010. To-date we have not been paid by the Member.
