Hoy kept their commitments and now, about 3 weeks, the grass looks great. Probably shames the neighbors.

Simply the best. I have seen Hoy Landscaping crews around town for years and always assumed that crews of that quality were out of my price range. Man was I wrong. Not only were they so easy to work with and friendly and professional... but they were the BEST price in town. As a bonus the guys who came to do the work gave me several pointers on other plants and bushes in my yard that will save me more money than I paid them in the first place. I will definitely call Hoy for my landscaping services in the future.

I had tried in vain to finish up the summer yard work of weeding and mulching and just really needed this done quickly and at a reasonable price. Hoy was quick to come out and do the estimate and once I got that, I called to pay the deposit and they were out the next day and completed the work. The trimmed up overgrown shrubs, pulled the last of the weeks and put down mulch in the areas I had not gotten to. The beds look so much better!

Last fall, I hired Jeff Kain of Hoy to prune all the bushes so that they would look nice again. He said he could do some of it right away and then the rest, he would need to prune in the spring. Sure enough, by late February, like clockwork, Jeff called to say he'd come to trim the bushes in a few weeks. They showed up more or less when he predicted and I was surprised when they were done. The bushes were so hacked down. But by this time, after having had several conversations with Jeff, I knew I could trust him to know what he was doing. By April, some of the bushes were green from top to bottom and some looked like they might not do so well, but Jeff affirmed that all was well and sure enough, it's mid-June and all of the bushes look great!
 
I have now also hired Hoy to do the mowing and lawn maintenance. I am very happy with their service. They have a large group and they go so fast they are done with mowing and edging in about 15 minutes on a double lot.  The yard looks very nice. But for the great pruning experience with Jeff, I would not have thought of using Hoy for yard maintenance, but I am grateful to have someone so knowledgeable about plants taking care of our yard whenever we need it. You can trust Jeff with your plants and I recommend him highly.

The price for the deep weeding was very competitive and Hoy did an absolutely wonderful job!  They cleaned up all my weeds and made my yard look wonderful again!  I am thrilled with the job they did and will not hesitate to keep them for next year.

The contractor told me it would take about 4 hours. It took them 6 but they did not charge me any more. They protected the gas so the Bobcat bare made any marks at all. They dug out all the roots they could. They raked the loose dirt back into the now empty shrub beds. They left no dirt on the sidewalks. They hauled away all the old shrubs! Wow! Did they do a great job.

The provider was very easy to schedule. They responded within a day and were able to set up recurring service electronically, which was very much appreciated. Since then the team has done the job well for a reasonable price. They bill automatically monthly. Everything has gone smoothly and is super easy.

It went very smoothly. The only reason I gave them a B was because of the delay I experienced getting the work scheduled. The actual work was excellent & I would recommend them highly.

Response to initial inquiry was prompt and via email. They said they would send someone to look at the lawn "in a few days." "In a few days" took a couple of days longer than I had hoped, but they did eventually email us a scanned contract to sign - they had just looked at the lawn and saved us the trouble of being home for an initial estimate appointment.
I sent in the contract and a couple of days later I came home to find that all of the edging, trimming, mulching, mowing, and debris pickup had been taken care of. They have since been coming by on a weekly basis and I think that so far they are doing a very professional job.
The price we were quoted is slightly below what others had quoted for the same weekly service, and in addition there has been none of the "will they or won't they bother to respond to my phone calls and emails" that we have had with several other lawn service companies.
Overall, an unusually professional lawn service company and I am pleased to have hired them.
