+ 0 moreOur experience with them has been outstanding. I have been with them two years now. It was just a full service arrangement. It has all kinds of equipment for any type of exercise program you are in including therapy programs. The staff was knowledgeable at certain things but they are not therapist. They are good. I went to the hospital for physical therapy and I have been using them as a way of supplementing what I get in my therapy. While I was doing therapy, physical fitness center was a great place to go when I don’t go the physical therapy itself. It has a full program center; they have pools, all kinds of gymnasium services, and different rooms with equipment in it.
Description of Work: I used the services of Gotlieb Hlth & Fitness Ctr.

Description of Work: I am at Gottlieb Fitness Center on an average of 3x a week - and have been since February of 2005. I find it to have all the needed fitness equipment, staff who care and are friendly as well as clean locker rooms and showers. As mentioned elsewhere, there is a lap pool and exercise pool, a sauna and hot tub, a weight room, two full exercise rooms, a track, a basketball court and a studio. Classes are offered frequently throughout the week. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. It's a great place if you aren't out to meet your true love. You don't feel as if everyone is watching you. There are televisions, though not the individual ones on each elliptical/treadmill as I've seen in other places. Rates are reasonable. I'd recommend it -especially for middle-agers and above.

+ -1 moreI am still using the facility now. I was able to rehabilitate my injuries and continue to use the services, take tai chi classes, use the track, use the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room various machines. continually upgrading equipment.
Description of Work: I have been attending Gottlieb for several years. They helped me with re-hab for a back injury. I have gotten help from several of the employees. They are all very qualified and helpful. There is a track, olympic pool, hot water pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room.racquet ball courts. All manner of free weights , and a variety of treadmills, steppers, ellipticals, and you name it they have it here. Free parking child care. All types of classes yoga, tai chi, dancing, aerobics, etc.Have massage available Emphasis on senior classes .

+ -1 moreGottlieb Health & Fitness Center is connected to a hospital and there are a lot of old people who go there. They are also connected to my insurance provider. They have a whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, warm water arthritis pool and a track. They don?t have as many latest types of equipments as the other fitness centers. It is well used and you don?t always get what you want. The people over there are very friendly and nice. It?s really hard to go across states to find the best fitness center. I feel that it is the best fitness center compared to the other ones that I have tried out over here. I will continue to go there as well.

+ -1 moreFound that classes were offered on basically only two levels: very strenuous and not strenuous at all. Strength training equipment was up-to-date, but the people running the areas were too busy or at least seemed unwilling to help.
Description of Work: Classes given in various forms of cardio exercise, along with equipment provided for strength training.
