"Our house had a water damage that ruined much of the drywall and floor on the first floor and the basement. For such a big repair job, I carefully looked up the reviews and recommendations from Angie's list and talked to 3 contractors that have the highest ratings. AOM was one of the three. David, the owner of AOM, quickly came to our house, assessed the damage, explained to me what need to be done, showed great empathy to our loss and current situation (having to stay in hotel waiting to go back to our house), and put a very competitive bid (about 2/3 the bid of another contractor). We picked them and signed the contract. AOM uses Trello, a cloud-based project tracking system that software companies often use, to effectively and promptly communicate task description and updates to all workers and house owners. AOM workers are professional, hard working, and friendly. For such a big project, expectedly there were some hiccups and AOM had to juggle ours with their other on-going projects. David kindly explained to me various aspects of the repair work and promptly fixed any faults that we identified. I became to completely trust David's professional skill and that he would treat our house like his. Several nights and weekends David came to work late so that we could move back to normal life as soon as possible. In the end, we are very happy with our remodeled house. I sincerely recommend David and AOM for any house remodeling and restoration job."

"Brian and his crew returned to my building on a warranty followup- their previous work done wonders for my flooding problems, but my foundation walls are apparently made of swiss cheese and there was one small seepage problem remaining which only shows up during a "100 year rain event".  Brian indicated that they go for 100%, not 99% and scheduled time to come back out to my building to address the issue under the warranty (a.k.a. free of charge) from the original work.  They came back out, dug up the foundation again, and found a crack hidden behind an old hasty concrete patching job that had been tarred over, which was determined to be causing the remaining seepage.  They repaired the crack and were done with the whole task in only hours.  I am a repeat customer, and can't say enough good things about Crawlspace and Basement Waterproofing solutions, they are friendly, helpful, and most of all, stand behind their work!

"Tile: Ceramic and Porcelain - Install We hired Covenant to install a porcelain tile in our bathroom and kitchen. He also assisted in the choosing of grout and tile selection and we are very pleased with the outcome. He was very professional and helpful and also used his contractors discount to purchase the materials for us. We are looking forward to hiring him in the summer to do a deck installation which I have seen pictures of his work and had an opportunity to get a reference from. This guy is awesome. Composite Deck - Build or Replace I was referred to Covenant Contracting Services by my sister in law who had some work done on her house. They recently built a deck for my home and was very professional with their service. We were very impressed by his attention to detail and the need to consult us before doing something. We truly did work together to build the deck to my specifications. I am very glad we choose them for this project which was completed just in time for Memorial Day. "THE GOOD   The interview went very well. I had a list of questions as to how the work would be performed and Mike answered the questions with confidence in every part of the job. After talking to him I felt comfortable believing the job would be done correctly.  We talked about materials and agreed on a price that was comparable to other bids. I told him I was not in a hurry. A different contractor said it would be 6 weeks so I guess in my mind I thought work would start in about that time frame. To be fair, Mike never gave me a start date.  This all happened in the middle of May.
 THE BAD   It took a week before we picked shingle brand and color and I paid an $8000 payment. 2 large pallets of materials arrived in the first week of June. The next communication with Mike was the last week of June with him saying the weather had slowed him down.The next contact was the middle of July. Mike said it would be a little longer. I contacted him again at the end of August and he said he was heading my way soon. I contacted him middle of Sept. and was told 2 weeks weather permitting. After 2 weeks Mike texted me saying it would be longer.  I replied with concerns about the material being on pallets in my yard for 4 months and gave him 3 weeks to start work or refund my payment minus material costs. He replied he had the permit and would start work the first week of Oct. Dumpster arrived on a Monday 8 days later. Some wood was dropped off on Friday. Work started the next Friday.
 MORE GOOD   Once the crew was here they did a great job. They protected my and the neighbors house during tear off and cleaned up every day. After tear off we discovered the addition roof tie in needed to be corrected which was outside the original bid. Mike rebuilt that and it looks and functions great. He did a lot of extras like disposing of some junk I had and putting some bolts in the front porch for a swing. He also partially roofed the playhouse to match the house(untill he ran out of shingles).I was very happy with the work.
MORE BAD  A week later I requested a paid in full invoice for taxes and the playhouse roof to be finished and Mike said he would take care of it.
It's been 7 weeks and still no invoice or finished roof on the playhouse.
FINAL WORD   If you want a quality job and have no time pressure then I recommend Mike. This was a 2 1/2 story hip roof and was not an easy job and took over 7 days to complete. That may have figured in to to delay. All in all it's been a roller coaster ride. He probably would have gotten here sooner if his Angies list A rating (and rightfully so in most cases) wouldn't have increased his business so much.

"I hired the company to do a make ready [clean up & prep] on a single apartment in a building which I own in the  town where I live. I needed the property to be cleaned up so I could rent it again.  I have been a landlord for over 20 years & hadn't found a vacated property in such a mess in all my years. They did the complete interior clean-up which took about five hours. And, the complete prep of the property. they took out all the trash & junk, and cleaned up all debris left in the yard. They did such a great job with that I decided to use them for the yard maintenance also. They cleaned all my flowerbeds & got them ready for spring, placed mulch & trimmed the shrubs and flowering trees. On the inside they made everything look brand new! Cleaning the walls, painting, cleaned the carpets & stripped & polished the wood floors...making them look brand new. The appliances that stayed were cleaned inside & out. They even remembered to get all the light fixtures clean for me. Dusted all window seals & doorways. Shine mopped all they tile floors. To top it all off they even gave the bathrooms a fresh clean look by putting a new caulk seal around the tubs, sinks & shower...which gave the bathrooms a fresh face. All in all I found it to be a very stress free pleasant experience. And, I will definitely call on them for the next project because if they could do so well with a nightmare like that I'm sure the less difficult will be equally affordable and easily handled.
