Hello there! I'm a Saint Charles/Saint Louis native and an experienced carpenter and remodeller of 17 years! Been in my own business since 2022. I love to do beautiful work at reasonable prices. I am focused on design-minded small construction and carpentry--this means that I am not primarily so focused on flashy features and the newest updates, and more focused on how I can create a project with you that makes sense with your specific house and it's architectural design. This is the second job I have had Mighty Contractor do in our house.  Again, the job was done extremely well.  There was great attention to detail to the point of perfection.  They cleaned up every night so there was never a mess; they were hardworking and very courteous.  We were so pleased that we are going to have them come back and do some more interior and exterior work for us.  Mighty Contractor is now on our speed dial!!  Tyler and his crew are awesome.

"This is Paul's second project at our home.  His first project was the laundry room (which was really a test run at who we would hopefully hire for the larger kitchen project).  Paul stayed true to his bid and was easy to work with on minor changes.  Major changes were negotiated and Paul was fair to work with.  In the days of CAD (computer aided design) we were stretched outside of our comfort zone with Paul's hand drawn designs.  We were confident that he had what we were looking for... but had we not had the positive experience in the laundry room we NEVER would have been able to take the leap on such a large project.   That said, we are so happy that we did.  The benefit of using Paul was he could easily incorporate changes that many of the large firms would struggle with.  The best example of this was the custom fireplace mantel that Paul did.  Originally the mantel was going to be a separate piece; however, after the cabinets were in (and before the mantel was made) we asked him to make it look like it all went together...and he did.  
After the cabinets were done, we hired Paul to do all of the trim work in the home.  We did not want the standard "big box" base moulding and trim.  Paul custom made all of the trim and moulding in the areas we renovated.  It looks great.
My wife is a self proclaimed neat freak.  Paul kept the site clean and overall did a nice job keeping the mess to a minimum.  Paul has an easy going laid back personality and was easy to work with.  He was consistent about laying blankets and mats to protect the new hardwood floors.

"He came to my house, but never actually delivered the design. He asked for 2-3 wks. I gave him about 4 wks. I tried to contact him to follow up, but I did not hear from him. I have received a refund from Angie's List. He told me they were doing (maybe paving?) when we first met, and he's trying to do landscape design? It was only $39. When I first contacted the rating was A, and it was B when I last looked. Maybe it's a case of trying to do too much, or needing to narrow the scope of work. You can know/do a little about everything, or something about a little....not both."

"I was extremely please with the job that was completed. The exterior of my house looks great. Dennis and his crew were professional and courteous. Even as they were at removing the existing siding, gutter, etc., they always cleaned up before leaving for the day. I appreciated this especially because this was not just a one day job. They answered all my questions and kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. I plan on using this company again for some projects inside my house. Would recommend them to others."
