Water scaping and consultation with home owner or other contractors, also have a full retail garden center

"We had them clean our pond this spring. One of their crew carelessly broke the stone ledge in the waterfall and it leaks continuously. We called them and explained the damage and the leak and this is what their "satisfaction guaranteed" means they will come out and take a look but we will be charged. YOU damaged the pond by someone carelessly stepping and busting a ledge in the waterfall and causing a leak and you want US to pay to fix it. We have contacted them numerous times with no outcome."

Upon installation of a lawn irrigation system, you will receive 2 seasonal service contract, which includes the start up and shut down of your system, a fertile system which fertilizes your lawn(fee), repels bugs and rust, also a hose enclose which hides your garden hose for those small jobs (fee).

"Installed our system 6 years ago, the system has worked well since install. I would just say get everything in writing and make sure to ask what the life time warranty means. Also check on when they can do you turn on and turn off they are very limited! Where we live they only do one specific day per week so if you cannot be home on that day you will be in trouble twice a year to be home for them."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

When deciding whether or not to turn off your pump, you should consider your area’s climate and the aquatic life in your pond. If you live in an area with freezing winter temperatures and don’t have any wildlife, keeping your pump on could damage it. If you have aquatic life but live in a colder climate, you might consider keeping your pump running and adding a pond heater.

Because frogs require fresh water for survival, they can die from repeated exposure to swimming pool chemicals. Chlorine dehydrates frogs, which can lead to their deaths. To ensure frogs don’t hang out in your pool for long periods, safely remove them once you spot them in your pool and install a frog log so they can easily hop out on their own.

Regularly clean pumps, remove debris, and monitor water levels to prevent algae growth and clogging.

The average pond maintenance cost is $2,000. But how much you pay to take care of your pond depends on multiple factors, such as the size of the pond and whether fish live in it. Your area's climate also affects the overall maintenance cost, as you may need to winterize your pond to protect it and any aquatic life in it during the colder months.

Placing your water feature in direct sun can speed up evaporation, leading to pump damage and algae growth. Shade or partial shade serves as the ideal location for most water features—just watch out for tree and plant debris that may fall in and clog the pump.
