Their guy came out and was certainly friendly, but didn't really know how to fix our machine. So he called the manufacturer and did his best, but he failed to fix it. So we went to plan B and had to spend our time and energy finding someone to fix the machine and then we had to front the money. We shall see how long it takes to get our money back. The other thing that happened with Plass, when we bought the machine, and I should have reported this earlier, but we were not yet on the list, is that they tried to sell us a used machine as if it were new. Totally shiesty and bogus (longer story) and the only reason they were caught is because either the warehouse guy or the delivery guy forget to take the tag off that said the machine had been marked down because it was a return, they left a huge, bright colored tag on it, which I still have, by the way. I worked it out, and got a new machine from them, but that experience and this warranty thing means I will never use them again.
Description of Work: Follow up on a warranty. We purchased a washer from them and bought the extra coverage. The washer broke, and then we discovered they have a bogus warranty system: you can arrange to have the work done and front the money, and they will reimburse you, or their guy can come out.

Plass was great. I went in with a printout of what I wanted to get a quote from them. The printout was from Abt Electronics. They met all of Abt's prices eventhough Abt was having a sale and with delivery charges and tax, Plass was actually lower. The sales rep sat with me and worked out a few problems with me because one of the items I wanted was no longer available from the manufacturer, and he gave me a discount because of it. Overall it was a good experience and I'd recommend them to anyone.

DID THEIR BEST TO REPLACE OUR BROKEN SUBZERO AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. WE DID HAVE A COUPLE ISSUES BUT THEY WORKED HARD TO RESOLVE THEM. IN THE END, IT ALL WORKED OUT WELL. THE INSTALLERS AND MOVERS WERE OUTSTANDING, ESPECIALLY DWIGHT.

I HAD AN OLD DISHWASHER THAT BROKE AND WENT TO PLASS FOR A NEW ONE. THEY WERE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND DID NOT PRESSURE ME AT ALL DURING THE SALE. THEY KNEW EVERYTHING THAT WENT WRONG WITH MY OLD ONE, AND HE SAID THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THEY COULDN'T GET THE NEW ONE FOR A FEW DAYS!!! CANT TRUST THEM TO DESCRIBE THEIR WAREHOUSE ITEMS ACCURATELY.
Description of Work: PURCHASED A REFRIGERATOR THEY HAD FOR SALE AT THEIR PRIVATE AUCTION KNOWING WE WOULD HAVE TO CONTACT THE MFR TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. THE REPAIRMAN RECOGNIZED THE REFRIGERATOR IMMEDIATELY AND TOLD US HE HAD BEEN TO PLASS TO REPAIR IT TWICE BEFORE...THE LAST TIME HE TOLD THEM IT WAS IRREPARABLE, DUE TO A LEAK IN THE COOLING SYSTEM. HOW DISHONORABLE THAT THEY WOULD SELL THE UNIT ANYWAY AND FORCE US TO GO THROUGH THE PROCESS OF GETTING A REFUND FROM THE MFR., MINUS THE AUCTION FEE THAT PLASS EARNED OFF US. WE PAID $150 FOR NOTHING!
