The guys from Pristine Inspections were amazing! This was my very first experience with having an inspection as I have never purchased a home before. I received a reminder text and also email the days prior to the inspection. They were extremely thorough, quick, efficient, and polite. They very thoroughly explained to me their findings before they left the premises and allowed me time to ask questions. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again!

Mark was amazing. His attention to detail and diligence was admirable. I am new to owning an home, and I have no prior experience with the home buying process. Mark was knowledgeable and he gave me great tips on some things I could do to help make this home even better. As we went through each room in the house, he pointed out some things I could do to improve the look and feel of the room, and he gave me great tips on how I could go about doing them. In addition to all the great advice he gave me, he was very diligent in finding anything that I should be wary of in this new home. As it turns out, there were many defects that I was not aware of and he explained why I should be concerned if I were to make the next steps into purchasing the home. The inspection was overwhelmingly detailed and included pictures of all the problem areas. It has allowed me to make a good judgement on whether or not I want to continue to buy the house. If I decide not to buy it, I know who I will be contacting in the future to inspect the next house I decide to buy.

Mark Adair was the inspector. He explained things as he went through my home. I will recommend Pristine and Mr. Adair to others.

This is the third inspection I have had performed by Pristine Inspections in the last eighteen months. John has been excellent to deal with. He has worked with me to get the inspections scheduled at a convenient time. The inspections have been comprehensive and the inspector has been good and patient in explaining any of the findings. John ( I think was the owner) was very professional and patient with my continuous questions. I am a first time home buyer so I had many questions. He was thorough, focused, and extremely knowledgeable. The report was great. The details by which John explained the issues as well as included suggestions for both issue areas and others that just needed to be improved upon was great. He included details pictures which helped me to see what he saw. I would recommend Pristine Inspections to anyone. I will definitely use them again.

The service was very good. They showed up on time. They were clean and professional. They did exactly what they said they would do.

Well, it ended up fine, but there was a rough start. Radon testing has become a way for Real Estate Agents to get a better price on a home, so they try to get involved and influence the tester. Initially, the test was ran in the home in the 'living space', which is what the EPA directs. However, the Buyer's Agent, Kimberly Crisman-Clark of Remax, contacted Pristine's agent and asked him to invalidate the results. He complied with her rather than contact us directly. Fortunately, the owner of Pristine stepped in and agreed to retest for no charge. I thought his response to the Agent's blatant unprofessional behavior was outstanding. Realizing that they get a lot of business from companies like Remax, it was a gusty move, but impressive.

The service was fine. He was here on time and was a nice man. He thoroughly looked at the house and so far he has been right about everything. We had no problems with the service.

It went well! The gentleman that came was extremely nice and didn't mind me tagging along. He was respectful of our stuff and explained some of the things he was looking for. He was very knowledgeable and willing to help. He was here for about 3 hours and was very thorough. I felt like it was an honest assessment. He told us he would get us a master list of the inspection report. Initially he sent us a bullet point list but the next day we got the completed full inspection report. He came recommended from our realtor and I would definitely recommend him. His pricing was consistent with inspectors in our area.

This company was highly recommended. Provides a report that seems reasonable. Some comments were sufficiently loose that one was not sure what the problem was. For example, they recommended additional evaluation for moisture in the crawl space. As the case may be, the crawl space floods. If inspectors are in crawl spaces several times a week, they should have seen this. As such, we now have several thousand dollars of bills, that would have been avoided if we knew about this before the closing. Being first time home owners, we felt somewhat mislead and quite disappointed.

John was absolutely fantastic! Not only did he do a very thorough and professional home inspection. But he took the time to show and explain to me how the water, gas, sump pump, and air flow worked and how the wiring and outlets were all connected. He also showed me what to look for and when things needed to be turned on or off, replaced, etc. On top of this, he took pictures of everything and included them in the home inspection report along with instructions for maintaining the furnace filter, gas, water, air flow, etc. As a first time home buyer, I really appreciated the extra effort and care he took. Also, the report itself was very thorough and professional and made it easy to go back to the sellers to request the recommended repairs. I would definitely recommend him without hesitation! You would be hard pressed to find a better inspector.

Mark was a fantastic inspector, he was on time and walked us through every aspect of his inspection answering my questions as he went. He was very thorough with the inspection and we had the final report within 24-hours of the inspection. He was also very quick to respond to my questions post-report with both an email and a phone call. The radon testing was done over the two days prior to our actual inspection, so we had the radon results come in during the inspection as well. I would definitely use this service again.

We were purchasing this home from out of area and Mark's comments and professionalism were exemplary. Mark worked with our realtor and inspected the home with the builder alongside. They fixed many discrepancies along the way, which allowed for things to be fixed on the spot and an excellent inspection report. For the few discrepancies that were unresolved, Mark was instrumental in advising us, as the buyers, with our options. We were also impressed with the expeditious release of the report. We waited only hours for the report, vice days. Another trait we liked was Mark's willingness to stay in contact for any other help we might need and continued communication.

We were in the process of purchasing a home and decided at the last minute to get a home inspection. Call Pristine after reviewing the comments on Angie's List and reviewing his website. We talked with John and told him that we had less than 5 days to get a home inspection done. Before hiring John, he talked with us in great details on what to expect. During the inspection, John and Jason was very thorough and explained all of the minor and major repairs that needed to be done. Upon completion of the inspection, we received a detailed report with photos and explanations, along with recommendations. We were very thankful that we had the inspection done and to have found someone as knowledgeable and professional as John and Jason. We highly recommend Pristine.

We needed a home inspection for a property we were looking to purchase so I googled home inspectors in the area and Pristine Inspections was very highly rated. We ended up working with Mark Adair and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Mark was incredibly thorough and allowed us to be present during the inspection. He went above and beyond to answer any and all questions we had and was very patient with us. Due to the heavy snow and freezing temperatures, he was unable to do the roof inspection and check the water (due to the vacant home having been winterized) but he offered to come back free of charge to complete when they could be done. In addition, he was very prompt in answering questions and even relaying concerns after the fact. We are thankful to have had Mark as our inspector and highly recommend Pristine Inspections to anyone looking for the best in town.

John performed our inspection and radon test. The test revealed elevated levels so we are moving forward to mitigate by installing an active system. But I really have to call out how sharp John is. We requested an inspection of some spots in our ceiling where we suspected some roof leaks. As anticipated, John identified the need to repair the roof flashing on one side of our house. But while he was in our front yard, John picked up on the sulfur scent that the gas company applies to natural gas. I never noticed it before. I immediately contacted the gas company and they confirmed the gas leak that John identified. John saved us from a very dangerous situation. The follow up was also very professional. We received a very professional inspection report that will help me as I work with other vendors to mitigate our radon and roofing concerns. I highly recommend working with Pristine. Terrific work.

I was able to call Pristine and schedule an inspection with my first call. The inspector Jason arrived on time and conducted a complete inspection of the house over the course of about 4 hours. Afterwards he gave me a quick briefing of the highlights. The written report arrived by email within hours. The report seems very complete. The inspector was very personable and knowledgeable and performed his work with little disruption of our routine. I would definitely recommend Pristine to anyone in need of a home inspection.

When we recently bought our first home, Pristine did our inspection. Two inspectors came (John and Mark), and they were very thorough and methodical. They were also patient and more than willing to explain things to us and let us follow them around (encouraged it, in fact), even though it definitely slowed them down. Post-inspection, we asked John about good electricians for older homes and likewise we've been very happy with the business he suggested.
