That’s where The Clean Can Club comes in. We use high-heat power washing and eco-friendly sanitizers to blast away 99.9% of bacteria, grime, and those nasty odors. "These guys are awesome. They are very easy to work with and everything that they do is top-notch, from the communication to the actual cleaning. They kept us in the loop so that we would know when they would show up and when they arrived, they were very polite, friendly and courteous. They explained their process and told us what to expect in a very clear and understandable manner. They then fired up their machines and did a fantastic job cleaning our carpet and couches. They moved at a great speed, worked really hard and got all the stubborn stains out. I wish I could show you some "before and after pictures", it is almost unbelievable. And to make everything even better, the chemicals they used left our carpet, couches and indeed the entire house with this rather nice and dreamy citrus scent that has lasted for weeks now. I definitely would recommend Happy Lion Cleaning to anyone, they are the best carpet cleaners I have ever worked with. They did an excellent job for me and I will keep hiring them from now onwards."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

No, you should not use a pressure washer or power washer on roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure is too strong and can damage the shingles by loosening their adhesive, forcing water underneath them, or causing them to fall off. The safer and better option is soft washing with a pump sprayer. For best results and to avoid damage, consider hiring a local roof cleaner to clean your shingles safely.

Vinegar, bleach, chlorine, barley straw, and a bevy of dedicated algaecides can kill algae, which is the easy part. Preventing algae from returning can be a struggle for some homeowners, but keeping the patio well-maintained and clean is a good first step.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams, but the best thing to do is address insulation issues in your attic. If you do decide to remove the snow manually, you should always use a roof rake rather than a shovel. You shouldn’t climb your snowy roof in any circumstance, and roof rake allows you to remove the snow from the ground or a ladder. For the best results, remove snow as soon as possible after it falls.

The best time to clean the outside of your house is during your outdoor spring cleaning. Wait until late spring, after the wave of pollen is done coating your home. You can also wash your house in late fall–before the first freeze–to remove leaves and branches from the gutters.

It is not advisable to use salt on your roof to prevent or remove ice dams. It’s not only mostly ineffective but can also cause serious damage to your roof itself. Salt can rust metal, damage masonry, pit shingles, and cause runoff that’s damaging to plants and animals.
