Matt had a bad attitude when he attempted to fix the patio pavers, it's a substandard job, the worst experience with a contractor ever!ever! I see he has great reviews, why ours turned out so badly is due to the unskilled workers he hired to do the work. "

Engineered stone doesn’t need sealing because it is non-porous. The manufacturing process creates a natural stain resistant to moisture, which also makes it easy to clean.

Engineered stone is known for its durability, lasting 15 to 20 years or longer. Of course, this range assumes high-quality materials and regular maintenance. After a couple of decades, the stone will start showing its age. Watch for discoloration, fading, stains, and burns, but it’s unlikely that engineered stone will experience structural failure.

There are three main downsides to quartzite: the cost, the porosity, and the weight. As a natural stone, there’s a level of scarcity that can drive up the price of certain types of quartzite. Marble is high maintenance, like most other types of natural stone flooring. However, because it is naturally a more porous stone, there are a few added care instructions. You will need to clean it often to prevent dirt and grit from scratching the finish and surface, keep it dry, clean up spills immediately, and have it professionally sealed and refinished at least once a year to maintain the shine and water-tight surface. However, investing in maintenance is a smart move because marble floors are among the most beautiful and valuable types of flooring when properly cared for.
