"These folks are amazing! They are affordable, they did a great job, cleaned everything up, really had the flowerbeds, landscaping paper, mulching everything back in place and aesthetically looking better than what it originally was when I bought the home. Donâ t hesitate to contact them and let them do your project!"

"I hired M and G to mow our yard.. Because I had some medical issues I was unable to mow myself. I reached out to Fernando and he was here the following morning. I have always done my own yard work and was very happy with the job and that it was done as well or better than before. I well continue to use M and G for future project as well. Nice job."

"Will is extremely knowledgeable and able to explain in detail to a layman the design as well as the reasoning behind it. We had a somewhat complex driveway put in on a slope with bad water drainage and the company did an amazing job putting in the drive and re-routing the water. They did it all in two days and went above and beyond."

"We used Billy and his team to repair our yard after a sewer line was replaced. He was very knowledgeable in the process of what was needed to restore the property to its prior state. The work was done quickly and we have had no problems with anything he has done. Highly reccommend!"

"AMP replaced my old deck and added a pergola. Because I decided to keep the existing under carriage they leveled and added more support for the new decking which went both horizontal and lateral. All waste material was cleaned daily and the work was completed in a timely fashion at a reasonable rate. They did an outstanding job and I highly recommend AMP Construction for any building project."

Small jobs welcome

"Chris did an absolute wonderful job. We were very impressed! He showed up when he said he would to give us a bid The bid was accepted, and he came back to do the job right on time. He even excelled at his professionalism. We are very impressed the way he did the cleanup like nothing ever happened. It’s like there was never a stump there. It looked so clean and neat . He even cleaned and blew off the dirt that was left in the road when he to put his machine back on his trailer. We were very satisfied! I give this person at least five Stars, if I could give him more, I would. I asked for his business card for further possible jobs, down the road. Thank you to a great job done ! ."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

The soil around your foundation should slope down and away from your home, not toward it. If the grading drops the farther you are from your home, you can enhance the slope by removing more soil. Mark off a few feet from your house and dig up some of this soil. Regrading around your fountain should encourage water to flow away from your home and not collect or “pond.”

The primary disadvantages of xeriscaping are the high upfront cost and the significant labor required to establish it. A xeriscaping project can cost between $3,000 and $24,000 on average. Additionally, the resulting landscape will have less of a traditional green appearance, which may not appeal to everyone's personal taste and could potentially narrow your pool of buyers if you decide to sell your home. However, despite these initial drawbacks, the long-term benefits include saving water, time, and money on lawn maintenance.

The best time to plant is between spring and autumn. Springtime weather is typically mild and is when nurseries start to bloom. When the summer weather arrives and it’s hot out, it’s best to avoid planting bare-root plants, but you can still plant many in-container varieties. The first sign of fall is another great opportunity to plant biennials if you live in southern states, or a lovely vegetable garden up north.

The most important thing to put under a rock garden is the appropriate soil. The specific soil needed will depend on the type of plants you’re growing as well as the environment you live in. You can also put non-woven or woven fabric under the rocks to add to the garden's structural stability.

Landscaping prices are sometimes negotiable, but it depends on the professional with whom you’re working. In most cases, you’ll have a better chance of negotiating prices down the more work you have done. Your pro might be willing to discount labor if they’re guaranteed a large job. You can also ask your landscaper to recommend more affordable materials that will still bring your vision to life to save.
