Having people work inside your home for two weeks is not easy but Sean and crew were such a blessing, respectful, and provided us with a remodeled bathroom, new floors in our downstairs room, and repaired other things that we needed all within a two week period. Oxidation is what causes copper to turn green. This oxidation is called a patina or verdigris, and in general, the process can take a few years. Your local temperature and humidity conditions play a big role, however; some gutters may not begin to turn green for 20 to 30 years if you keep them clean and maintained. Some homeowners prefer the penny-like sheen of copper. In some cases, you can prevent oxidation by regularly using a specialized anti-tarnishing finish.

The best drainage system deposits rainwater as far away from your house as possible.
