Provider arrived on time to review our apt's electrical system. We were concerned about the power tripping off in the kitchen. He opened the electrical panel and walked us through what he found. He also advised how to avoid the issue but fixing the circuit load would be cost prohibitive as walls would need to come down in the condo to re-wire. We were satisfied that the electrical system is not dangerous and there were simple ways to avoid tripping the fuse. He shares a lot of info on what he finds and why things are the way they are. If you want this level of detail. We also hired him to review the electrical system in our home condo. He performed the same service there and identified a shared circuit that he was able to quickly fix with parts he had in his truck. The cost was reasonable and he identified another issue that was able to be resolved by changing out a light switch. He recommended we go ahead and do that one ourselves rather than being charged his fee. We appreciated his honesty and leaving us with the option to decide how to handle it to save some money.

Paul arrived early and patiently diagnosed the problem and quickly determined that the wall switch had failed. I have some ability with electrical service and I completely missed that problem. I would rate his overall service as excellent and will definately use him again. Joe

We knew a few things that were wrong. Paul made suggestions on what we could do to fix them. He knows exactly what he is doing. Paul made fast work of what needed to be done and was in and out of our home, so we could go about our day. Everything is working great. We will not only use Paul for our future electrical needs, but we have already referred him to our friends.

Once Paul arrived at my house he did a thorough walkthrough and pointed out what needed to be done. Everything he said was not new to me because it had already been pointed out by other electricians but what set him apart from the rest was that he was very detailed and meticulous in how he explained what needed to be done and why it needed to be done. The price was ultimately what sealed the deal. I asked for three things from Paul: 1. I needed a new electrical panel 2. I needed to relocate the Electrical Panel, and 3. Relocate the electrical meter from the rear of the house to the front of the house. My house is an older home that needed a complete electrical panel upgrade. The panel was old, very small, and no room to add any new electrical appliances. I was unable to connect anything else into the electrical panel because there wasn't any more room. I also wanted to relocate the electrical panel to a location that was easier to access because it was located in a place where access was difficult. The last thing I needed was to relocate my electric meter from the back of the house to the front of the house. Paul took care of all the permits. He coordinated with HECO to come over and set up my new meter, and he performed all work ahead of schedule and on budget. That is a tribute to a man that knows his business and clearly understands Hawaii electrical regulations. He also is very informed on what is expected by the agencies such as HECO, which is very important to provide an accurate schedule of when work will be completed. Most importantly, he had the best prices on the island. Thanks to Paul, I have a safer home, a new electrical panel in the ideal location with additional room to connect new appliances. East Oahu Electric is the company that I will use for any future electrical work. Paul is the only electrician that will be doing any work at my house from this point on. Paul is enthusiastically recommended to anyone needing electrical work, especially military personnel and veterans. He took good care of me and my family. Thank you East Oahu Electric.

He checked everything, verified the codes, and answered my questions. He was on time for the appointment and a good communicator. I was satisfied.

Paul & his assistant arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and worked steadily through the mid-afternoon to install the new fixtures & plug. We have an older house (ca 60 years in the original portion, nearly 40 in the addition) with an electrical system that is not completely upgraded to current standards. Despite the quirkiness of our house's outlets & systems, Paul & his assistant were able to install all but one of the new fixtures and that location, it turned out, had other issues that will need to be resolved later. Paul also came back a following day in order to swap out a non-working motion sensor security light (a warranty issue) and we really appreciated his willingness to do so. We will be hiring East Oahu Electric again for future work & we can recommend them to others without reservation.

He answered my request that same day. He was prompt, pleasant, efficient, and did the work well.

Overall I was not impressed and would not recommend this company.
