We had decided to move closer to where my husband and son work and needed to find a new home. We had some special needs, such as very few stairs, it needed to have an in-law suite for my parents, a nice backyard for the dogs, and a reasonable price. When we first met Vicky, we told her all of our needs, likes, and dislikes. The first thing she suggested was to get pre-approved, so that we would know our price limit. She referred us to a mortgage broker she likes to work with and he pre-approved us within a few hours. So our search began. We honestly didn't  think the search would end quickly, but Vicky found us the perfect new home, in the location we wanted, at a lower  priced that we expected, and all within just 2 weeks. She was always on time, every time we met, and she never was pushy or overbearing (like some used car salesmen can be). She not only pointed out the outstanding features of a house, but also took our needs, likes, and dislikes into consideration. When we found our perfect home, she advised us how to bid on the house. There were a total of 5 bids and the seller (this was a bank-owned, government foreclosure) told us they would accept not just the highest bidder, but also the one with the best terms, because of her advise, our bid was accepted. We signed the contract. We were supposed to close on 7/17/2012, but there was a problem with the foreclosure title, and the seller requested a 30 day extension.
