THE POND PROFESSIONAL

They came out twice. They did a review and analysis of our pond the previous time and he charged me $150 for that. He said that it needed to be serviced in the spring. So they came back out the next time to do the servicing and they charged me $600 for that, and all they did was they drained it. They did what they said and they were going to drain it, clean off the scum and then refill it, and we switched out from fish. There was a problem with the filler pump and he said that he didn't do that. So, he basically just left it broken. That was it. He took my $600 and took off. Then I called another company and they looked at it. First of all, they told me that the cleaning should have been half that price. So, Pond Professional charged me twice the amount that they should have and they left without even fixing all the problems that I had. I was very unhappy with them. We never had a pond before so I was totally ignorant, and I assumed that what he was telling me was correct. He did give me correct information and did not falsify any of that. He just didn't do all of the stuff and the full service would have been fixing the filler pump, or sending me to someone else that fixed it. He said that he didn't do it and just left it like that. He was knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about as far as maintenance, the type of water and the type of fish and that kind of stuff. He was educative but he was not a full service person. That was my complaint about him. I had to call him 5-6 times to come out. His wife said that she would call me back and schedule a time for him to come out. He called me when I was out and said that he was at my house and that he was going back. I mean, there was no notice. I told him that I was not there and wouldn't be back for an hour, and when I got there, he had already drained it and was in the middle of it.

HE HAS AN EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE OF PONDS, AND ALL TYPES OF FISH. HE UNDERSTANDS THEIR NATURAL HABITAT. HE CAME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD BE HERE.
