REMODELING EXPRESS

The project went very well. He moved all our furniture and put it back properly and He cleaned up after himself.

Did good work overall, price was good. sometimes slow to respond. Overall a good experience and would hire again.

After getting several outrageous estimates (from $1700.00 to $2900.00) to do this work--or rather to complicate the work with all kinds of "added features," I called Remodeling Express and Mr. Hernandez came out to give me an estimate. He explained what needed to be done, and said he could start right away. He and one other man completed the work in about 10 hours, and I couldn't be happier. I have a wonderful new space for my washer/dryer, and it looks great. I will use this company again.

After calling him, he was able to come by to give us an estimate within a few days. The price he gave us was less than we were expecting. He was in the middle of a big job for someone else, so he come to do the work on a Sunday, his day off. First he installed the new shutters. He did a great job - they are perfectly straight and even. He then went into the attic to replace the fan motor. He ended up having to get up onto the roof to replace it. Again, great job. He was very courteous and prompt, and gave us a great price. We are making a list of all the things we want to hire him to do in the future.

I found Gonzalo on Angie's List and called. We scheduled a time for him to come by and evaluate the job and provide an estimate (8am on a Saturday morning). He was early and was sitting outside in his truck waiting. I went outside to meet him because I was ready early, too. Gonzalo gave a precise estimate. He indicated it would take 2 weeks or more to get on his schedule once we agreed that he would do the job. I told Gonzalo that because of the price - I had to get other quotes. I got other quotes. Some of these companies were very slow to respond, and some of them were quick to respond. They had all kinds of ideas - and a few wanted to do siding on the whole house. I called Gonzalo after I got all of the quotes, and asked him to do the work. He scheduled to come onsite within a week, and completed the job in just over 2 days. His crew is neat, professional, and skilled. I am thoroughly impressed. I will use Gonzalo's crew for every job I need to have done (painting, ceramic tile, finish carpentry, siding, windows, and doors). I am fortunate that I found Gonzalo on Angie's list.

I?ve been very happy with him and he?s actually coming to do more for me. He?s a little bit slow but that was fine for me because I didn?t need anything done in a hurry. He's a real gentleman.

He was very reasonable and could do virtually everything that we requested him to do. We did not have to hire 4 different people to do the job. He does not do electrical wiring, however. He is friendly and professional. He got the job done in a timely manner. We are happy with how everything turned out.

The work was done on time and for the stated amount. Clean up was done daily. Gonzalo is a pleasure to deal with even though it was extremely hot(100+ degrees).

He and his helper were on their hands and knees, detailing every nook and cranny of my deck. I loved their attention to detail. The outcome was excellent. He exceeded my expectations. Gonzalo was on time, pleasant to work with and very professional. He is also trustworthy. That's important to me. He takes pride in his work and keeps his word. I will definitely call him again for anything around the house that needs work.
