The electrician came out and found that all three automatic switches were DOA. Kind of surprising, and unexpected. Two of the three were from one manufacturer.

I had water leaking from my water heater and the expansion tank drain line, so I knew something was wrong.  I called another plumbing company out to look at my problem and he diagnosed the issue and gave me a quote to replace my water heater & expansion tank as well as to replace the pressure control valve to reduce the water pressure coming into my house from the street.  This was most likely what caused the problem with my water heater.  I knew from my research about what this should cost, and he was quoting me double.  I actually paid for his visit and got online to find some other plumbers.  After a couple of calls I spoke with Clay at Quick Pro Plumbing.  He was very knowledgeable about my issued even though he had not visited my house yet.  I felt very comfortable that he knew what he was talking about.  Then he was willing to quote me a flat-fee price on the work, even if he discovered that he would have to do more.  Clay and Alex showed up on time, completed the work on time, and cleaned up before they left.  I got a new, bigger and more energy-efficient water heater.  Alex even corrected some other pluming issues I had on the connections to the old water heater.  Then they installed a heavy-duty pressure control device on my main line that cut the pressure from the street in half, which takes that pressure off of all my internal plumbing.  This device will last me 20 years, and I did not feel any difference in pressure from my shower or faucets.  I am very happy with the service and the price, and I will definitely use them again when I need a plumber.
