Pool Craft owner Jim Acosta is a con artist. He took our money and left us with nothing but problems. Jim will lie to your face and make you think he is going to do the right thing but he never does. Our pool has had a stop order from the county since August because he did not properly do the electrical bonding and then covered it up with concrete. There are 5 more in Cobb county that have the same problem. He is no longer allowed to get permits or inspections in Cobb until he resolves all the issues with the current projects. Jim has been told this and has known since August and he has not corrected one issue on any of these builds. He charged us for 1400 square feet of concrete decking and we later discovered we only had 1000 square feet. He refused to refund the overpayment. They also burned the concrete decking when they poured straight acid on it while cleaning the coping. He has refused to complete work like putting fire brick in the firepit and fixing a leak on the equipment pad. Do not hire this company. They are scammers and will not finish work and steal your money!

Worst experience ever. They take your money, don’t finish the work according to contract and code, and multiple homeowners (including myself) who have used them are all now having major issues with their pool. Biggest mistake was that I didn’t educate myself on the permitting and Pool Craft company history of not completing inspections. Such as grounding the pool! Who builds a pool and doesn’t ground it to prevent electrocution?!! Pool Craft Company does. Multiple times. Check the county permit history. They are totally incompetent pool builders. Read ALL reviews on ALL websites and get plenty of references before making a decision. Connect with prior customers. Weed out what is real and what is fake.
