Steve
I contacted Phillip Burns at Pinnacle Contracting Group in order to get a quote to replace a railroad tie retaining wall with a decorative brick wall. He promptly contacted me within three hours of me leaving him a message. Phillip came out the next day to survey the wall and meet with me and my neighbor. He answered all of our questions and was very patient as we looked around for other quotes. His price was outstanding and he had impeccable references. In the end, we chose his company to replace the wall. Phillip and his capable crew started the project 3 days after we hired them. Pinnacle Contracting Group also does commercial work in a few cities around GA, so I was not surprised to find that all of the equipment he used was in great shape. The job took 3 days from start to finish. The wall he replaced was 45 feet long by 4.5 feet high and was topped with large monkey grass plants. Day 1 was spent removing the old railroad ties, the monkey grass, and prepping the wall for the brick. Day 2 included building a foundation and starting the wall. On day 3, they finished the wall and cleaned up. They removed all of the debris, pressure washed the driveway, and placed Bermuda grass seed and hay over the dirt that was left over from removing the monkey grass. I am an airline pilot and believe in professionalism. Mr. Burns is the most professional contractor I have had the privilege to work with. I would definitely recommend him.
