I took my computer immediately to Renee at Micro Centers. She had it fixed and ready to go the next day. She explained that even if you pay the ransom money demanded by the thieves, they will still have access to your computer, tracking all your key strokes - gaining all your passwords. My father had experienced this same virus the day before me. He didn't understand what was going on and actually paid the "fee" to fix the problem. (Wells Fargo refused to honor the transaction - thank you, Wells Fargo!) Then he went right back to work on his computer, accessing his financial programs. I called him from the parking lot at Renee's and explained he needed to bring the computer in immediately to be fixed properly. He finally listened and Renee was able to teach him about his computer and what to do in the future to safely work/play on the internet. A week later, he was on one of his stock trading programs, and right before his eyes, $9500 was withdrawn from his account!!!! Thanks to Renee, he knew what to do. Working with the techs from the stock website, they recovered the $9500 and he finally changed his passwords (which Renee had begged him to do). He's had no trouble since, and neither have I! Thank you, Renee and MicroCenters!!!!!!!

The person who came over did a great job. He seems very smart and able to figure things out. The technicians there are very very nice and easy to work with. They don't try to rip you off like some other computer people I've gone to.

My PC was severely damaged by virus and software corruption. Renee at Microcenters of Georgia explained the problem and their recommendation. She did a complete system reload, removed the viruses, updated software and installed new anti-virus programs. Turnaround time was two days, and when i went to get the computer, she gave me a class on all the features of my basically brand new computer! I highly recommend this business.

Microcenters of Georgia is an independent Cherokee County business owned by Renee Snow located in Woodstock, GA. This is a hidden gem on Bells Ferry Road that specializes in computer repairs, virus/malware removal, and much more. Unlike the big box computer repair shops Microcenters of Georgia is a local customer centric IT company. I've been extremely satisfied with the combination of workstations and laptops Renee and her team have repaired & recycled.

I am generally IT for friends and family, but when I can't figure it out or fix it my first phone call is to Renee and the team at Microcenters. They have solved a wide variety of issues for me over the years, as well as offered great at advice for problem solving. They stay up on top of all the latest software and have some great programs for me to look at every time I'm there. I have and do strongly recommend them.

Entered gigantic computer supply store and was greeted by an associate who immediately understood and explained that google chrome "ran hot." He showed me the item I needed and surprised me with a rebate coupon as well. I then mentioned another case not related to computers, since the associate was quite knowledgeable. Had purchased a console for a new TV and in placing speakers discovered one cable too short for the position I wanted it in. He immediately came up with a longer cable and asked if I had other electronic problems. Purchased both items and was impressed with the large number of items in the store.

Wonderful...... Brandon is an old coot who really knows what he is doing.My computer runs bettter than new . Brandeon tweeked it and added some new software ....it works great.......Renee the owner is the sweetest person She'll bake cookies for ya and watch your dog .Prices are very fair....and fast........

I was having difficulty with accessing internet but unsure of the reason. After a diagnostic was done, malware was discovered and removed. Also some tweaking was done to enhance security and performance

Brandon and Renee worked tirelessly to track down and eliminate duplicate data, reorganize hard drive, and repair and reorganize my Outlook 2016 pst files. My computer was a mess and they restored it to original operating condition. They originally custom build this computer for me with a SSD hard drive.
Microcenters is the best computer sales and service business I have used in Georgia. They are reliable, honest, reasonably priced and experts in their field. If you have a problem with your computer, call Microcenters, no one else!

Microcenters has continued to support me in all aspects of computer work in a CPA office. I have worked with them at least twenty years.
They are so professional and so informed in solving problems such as rebuilding computers, to moving XP machine into VM as well as solving problems with printers. They converted image old XP drive into virtual box on Window 7 PC.
Microcenters has helped with my business computer as well as my home computer.

Could not have been better. Rene is the lady that helped me out big time. She has a 15 year back ground working for HP, and a total of 30 years experience in the business.
. Like I said, I have used Microcenters of Ga for the last several years and so have a few of my friends.
However,this is the first time I purchased a top of the line desk top with Windows 10. Rene even showed me a few of the advantages of the 10 before taking it home, I had been using Windows 8.1. Rene also installed a very neat system so it you have any problems you open a icon she installed on the PC and it will call her and if necessary she can take control of the computer and fix it or tell you to bring it in to
the shop.

Kevin, was able to correct a firewall issue on our newly uploaded Quickbooks 2016 software in a matter of minutes. This was after I spent 3 1/2 hours on the phone with Quickbook's IT department. I would highly recommend Mirco Centers of GA for all of your computer needs.

Renee was able to quickly find a way to reset the computer to the way it was originally shipped to me since it was a NEW computer. Then she reloaded MS Office and applied the latest updates and all went very well. I have used them about 4 or 5 times over the last 6 years and have always had excellent service, a quick turnaround time and a great price for the work performed. I highly recommend them if you live near Woodstock, Ga.
