MaurerCo Retaining Walls Inc

MaurerCo was hired in 2015 to install a simple backyard paver patio and some walkways. They stated they "were expensive" because of the high quality of their work and their 20-year guarantee. They stated (to our face) that if there's ever a problem they'll be out to fix it. Well, the patio and walkways started to deteriorate in 2018. Stones became loose and uneven and causing a tripping hazard. It's gotten worse in the time since. The patio is no longer even (sinking in areas) and does not look good at all. Amazing how they could mess up such a simple job. Since 2019, we've called, emailed, and texted to get them out to honor their guarantee. They promised and stalled and did nothing. And then they got nasty on the phone. They now no longer return calls or e-mails and clearly have no interest in living up to their guarantee. We will most likely have to hire someone else to come out and fix their slipshod work. And in looking at other reviews online (and Better Business Bureau) I can see that this appears to be a common occurrence with them. Once they get your money, they are gone and you are ghosted. We will probably have to take them to court. Avoid MaurerCo.

Pete and his team were very committed to doing an excellent job, and they delivered. We have received many compliments on his work. Would definitely hire again.

My back yard was a blank slate.  It had no form or function and now it is an inviting place to have guests over and entertain.  The walls (and the reconfiguration of the drainage of my home and yard) have vastly improved my back yard's atmosphere completely.  Pete was great on the front end, and Ryan and Cody and their team made it happen in spite of a few weather issues and some VERY HOT temperatures.  Great job!  All that's left are a few plants they had to special order for me but the rest is done and it looks great.  Thanks.
