For starters mind you I already purchased the water heater (gas) and a new expansion tank. guy showed up, all good... price was 1242.84 total just to install this. So my friend who owns the property, is a recently widowed lady in her senior years on a fixed income. She contacted me floored at the price... I contacted them, James Locklear, the Owner called me back told me he could give her the senior discount, 100.00 and knock off the 40.00 for the expansion tank. so WOW a major "Discount" for a 2 hour job... I will not recommend them to change a faucet washer let alone a major job because they CHARGE WAY TOO MUCH FOR NOTHING... Had I know they were going to treat my friend this way I would have told her to say pack it up and call another plumber. Was told this was just their standard fee, would sure hate to find out what an emergency call would cost.

Great. Plumber was very professional and replaced faucet valve in about a half hour. He cleaned up after himself, wrote an invoice and left. Highly recommend.

Overall they did a good job, we've never had any problems with the drain they ran. The under-sink plumbing is a little ugly, but it works well. The issue we had was while the floor was torn up they damaged the ceiling drywall for the room below and left the work for the general contractor to repair.

After a flood in my bathroom late on a Saturday night Locklear came and unclogged the pipes that night so I could use my bathrooms over the weekend.  Then the next Monday they returned and started digging to find the problem.  They did find the problem pretty quick and it was a very poorly done earlier repair.  They then cut away the bad part of the pipes, replaced them (correctly) with new pipes, put gravel under them and then covered them back up.  I was very thankful that they came out when I really needed them and did the work quickly and efficiently.  I highly recommend that if you are in need of a good, honest plumber give Locklear a call.

We called James when the big box store kept giving us a run around and could not tell us when they would be able to replace our leaking water heater. It would be over a week and they estimated a cost of nearly $900. It was a six year old water heater with a five year warranty. We knew of him through someone at work. James came up the next morning but instead of replacing the water heater informed us it could be repaired. Further he diagnoised a problem of too much pressure on the house water line that I had already suspected. Half the cost was to fix the repair and half to install a a pressure regulator. He saved me over $500 dollars and with the pressure reduced all the faucets have quit leaking. He could have just replaced the water heater because that is what I called him for. I have decided to pay him a nominal fee to come up once a year and check the pipes, I have never done that before with anyone.
