Daniel has been maintaining our water feature in our backyard for three years along with our landscape lighting. He is very professional and thorough. He and his crew are very nice to work with and provide the highest quality of work. We are very happy to have found him.

The team arrived at 8:00am on a cold wet Monday? They spent the day removing tree stumps and old shrubbery and preparing for the course of the water feature that would present the best view from the deck and breakfast room.
All materials were selected and placed with care and to complement existing hardscape.
The team have worked together for several years, which is evidenced by their respect for each other's knowledge and opinions.
They worked tirelessly, every rock given a permanent place only when all were satisfied that it was the right place.
The plant selections are to create a natural environment - ferns, perennials, ground cover and water-loving grasses. The area was completed by adding rock outcrops and mulching.
The team was considerate, communicated well and cleaned every thing up each day and when the work was completed on Friday.

Over five days the team transformed an ugly overgrown slope into a work of art. I would recommend this creative team to anyone wanting to create something beautiful in their garden.

The WOW factor is, well WOW.

We have used Daniel and his crew for several years to repair leaks in our water fountain/pond (chipmunks). We finally gave up and had them replace the pond with a spillway basin feature (take that chipmunks). They removed the old rocks, placed the new system and replaced the rocks to make a very natural, attractive water feature. Their work was professional, clean-up very through, and price competitive. Definitely an excellent choice for any water feature construction or repair.

We originally planned to have the company that did our general landscaping do a water feature. But we found out that one of the top water feature installers in all of the southeast was in the area, so we met with him and decided to give our project to Daniel and Liquid Landscapes. There is no way for me to adequately convey what an amazing experience this has been. It was so much more beyond our wildest dreams for such a feature- it was reasonably priced, it is absolutely gorgeous in every way, and Daniel was very patient with us along the entire process. He came out again when it was all done to make sure we had all the details on how to properly maintain the waterfall. This was easily the most positive experience of working with a service company that I've ever experienced, and now we have this amazing waterfall to unwind by after a crazy day at work. I'm serious- these guys are the best at what they do, period. I still can't get over what they created. It is absolutely stunning. I know this will sound corny but I wish there was something above an "A" that I could give them-- they did that good of a job!

The crew showed up promptly, replaced a broken sprinkler head and swapped out the control box (lightning damage). The system is running well and we sure needed it this summer!

We have worked with many contractors over the past several years and none of them compare to working with Daniel and his team! From start to finish, Daniel made us feel comfortable about the project and the end product exceeded our expectations. They are truly artists and so knowledgeable. They did everything included in the estimate and so much more. Daniel was on site for most of the project and always willing to answer our many questions. We are so proud of our new pond and look forward to enjoying it for years to come. We will continue to use his services for cleaning in the years to come.

We could not be more pleased with Daniel Saylor, the owner of Liquid Landscapes and his crew. We could not be more proud of the beautiful pondless waterfall he created out of the cement disaster we were left with by Pike Nurseries Landscape department 2 1/2 years ago. Daniel is one of the best contractors we have ever used for any type of project. He is very professional and knowledgeable, extremely hard working, honest and dependable, and he obviously cares about his clients and their wishes. He is very much a talented artist when he creates his water features, and he is quite knowledgeable about plants, both for water features and for general landscaping. He was more than helpful when advising us about the pros and cons of keeping a pond or going with the pondless waterfall. Daniel builds his water features with stone boulders placed in a "dry set" fashion (no mortar or cement) using gravel as grout. The result is a natural looking feature, in our case the effect is a babbling brook with water falls surrounded by lush vegetation. Our falls are virtually maintenance free, and we run the water 24/7, with lighted falls at night. In 31 years of living here with a pond we never had the time to maintain, we were never able to enjoy this feature. Now, because of Daniel, we enjoy seeing beautiful waterfalls, and hearing the calming sounds of the cascading water day and night. Daniel has truly enriched our lives. We highly recommend him for any project.

Daniel Saylor at Liquid Landscapes does a beautiful job and at a
fraction of the price that I was paying before.  His crews scrub the
stones and keep the algae away, replace the lights under the falls and
once a year they do a spring cleanout where they drain the pond, secure
the fish and give it a thorough cleaning.  That service runs about $1000
but is worth it.  Our waterfall is now 15 years old and still looks
great thanks to Daniel and his crew.  Highly recommend!

Daniel and his two employees were very knowledgeable and I couldn't be happier with the results...it was even better than I expected.   You seldom see vendors who are so enthusiastic and particular about their work.  Daniel, the owner, went out of his way to make sure he did everything I wanted and listened carefully to how I wanted the waterfall to look.  Daniel was on-site almost the whole time and it turned out perfect!  Everyone who sees the end result is amazed and have asked for his number.  I will use him again for cleaning and maybe lights and would definitely recommend him.  I believe you get what you pay for and I felt the cost was worth the great job and top grade materials, especially the stones and high-end pump.

Vendor has been very patient with us.  We originally contacted him in 2014 for a quote and didn't bring him back until 2015.
Vendor arrived on time and did exactly what was quoted.  Costs came in lower than what we recalled being quoted in 2014.
Vendor also provided some consultation on maintaining our fountain and has been called upon a couple times since the home visit with additional questions.  Each and every time they have responded and assisted with no additional costs.
We will definitely be using these services again in the future and recommend to everyone else.

Creating a fountain from objects that look like a large pot is a do-it-yourself job...right? I see these types of fountains in the big box stores. My job was different but close enough to get me started.
My Dad had saved two slightly chipped 50 year old insulators he salvaged from his job at Alabama Power Co. I wanted to create a memorial garden for my Dad. The insulators weighed about 45 pounds each. This was a two person job so I hired my handyman to help. Deciding how much splash the fountain would create was guesswork at best. I searched/priced the big black tubs you bury. I decided on the size, gallons of water, weight limit, etc based on guesswork. After researching pumps, I bought one that should have been perfect.
Now the hard part. The insulators are hollow. In my mind, you just attach PVC to the pump and turn it on. No.  After hours and hours trying everything we could think of, it would not work the way we thought it would. I bought 3 pumps before we found one that sort of worked. Counting my handyman hours, my time and money, materials, gas, etc., I am close to $1,000 and nothing worked like we thought it would. I called Daniel after reading the reviews from Angie's list.  He came out within a few days, gave me two options. I really needed a larger tub, different pump, different plumbing, different set up, and start over again. OR he could get a different pump, different plumbing, and fix what was wrong for $250. I will have to fill the fountain more often (which is a pain). It took about 3 hours and Daniel had the fountain running like it was supposed to work. It is really beautiful.
I could have saved money by calling a professional 1st. I wasted my time, money, and stress. I learned that if you want something done right, call a professional.
Daniel was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to do business with. He will be able to do the maintenance and repair

The waterfall was leaking and using lots of water.  Daniel found the leak a few weeks ago and then sent a proposal for eliminating some the problems with a very dirty and overgrown small pond area.  They just finished and the transformation is incredible.  I can now hear the water feature from the upper area of my lawn.  I will have him come back to look at putting a pondless  waterfall closer to the house.  One of the most creative and professional people I have worked with.

I actually found them on Angie’s List. He called me and set an appointment, and then he was actually in the area earlier. He called me that morning and said that they were in the area. He said that he was not sure if he could come out or not and that I didn’t just have to be home. He came out and I told him that there was a problem with the filler pump and it was not building pressure. He checked out everything on the pond but could not find the problem. Then he backtracked and ruled out our sprinkler system. He turned all the sprinkler zones on and did troubleshooting. He went out to the front and turned all the water off and then he turned it all back on. He was here for a good hour and a half. He didn’t understand it and so he started digging with a little shovel that he had. He didn’t trash my yard or anything and started tracking the pump and uncovered that the hole to the pump was kinked. He cut it and spliced it together so that the kink was gone, and covered it back, but the pressure still wasn’t high. He then told me that the sprinkler system guys would just have to come out. I told him that the pond would have to be cleaned next spring and he told me what the charge would be, and it was half what I had been charged previously by another company. I told him that we might want to upgrade it and he gave suggestions and what it may cost, and told me to give him a call when we wanted to do it. He cleaned up everything, put everything back and left. He called back two days later to make sure that the sprinkler guys had come out and fixed it. He will have my yearly servicing every year, or for any issues, I will only go to him.

My wife and I bought a house with a koi pond and we knew nothing about keeping fish.  Daniel has made it very easy for us and now we feel much more comfortable with the pond.  I actually found Daniel on Angie's List and hired him based on his good reviews.  The reviews are correct, he is very professional and knowledgeable about koi ponds.  We're very glad that we found him and we are on his monthly pond maintenance program.  Basically, all I have to do is to clean the filter for a couple of minutes each week and make sure that the pond stays full of water (it's amazing how much water evaporates during hot weather).  You can hire Liquid Landscapes without reservation.  Highly recommended!  A++++
