All materials were selected and placed with care and to complement existing hardscape.
The team have worked together for several years, which is evidenced by their respect for each other's knowledge and opinions.
They worked tirelessly, every rock given a permanent place only when all were satisfied that it was the right place.
The plant selections are to create a natural environment - ferns, perennials, ground cover and water-loving grasses. The area was completed by adding rock outcrops and mulching.
The team was considerate, communicated well and cleaned every thing up each day and when the work was completed on Friday.
Over five days the team transformed an ugly overgrown slope into a work of art. I would recommend this creative team to anyone wanting to create something beautiful in their garden.
The WOW factor is, well WOW.
fraction of the price that I was paying before. His crews scrub the
stones and keep the algae away, replace the lights under the falls and
once a year they do a spring cleanout where they drain the pond, secure
the fish and give it a thorough cleaning. That service runs about $1000
but is worth it. Our waterfall is now 15 years old and still looks
great thanks to Daniel and his crew. Highly recommend!
Vendor arrived on time and did exactly what was quoted. Costs came in lower than what we recalled being quoted in 2014.
Vendor also provided some consultation on maintaining our fountain and has been called upon a couple times since the home visit with additional questions. Each and every time they have responded and assisted with no additional costs.
We will definitely be using these services again in the future and recommend to everyone else.
My Dad had saved two slightly chipped 50 year old insulators he salvaged from his job at Alabama Power Co. I wanted to create a memorial garden for my Dad. The insulators weighed about 45 pounds each. This was a two person job so I hired my handyman to help. Deciding how much splash the fountain would create was guesswork at best. I searched/priced the big black tubs you bury. I decided on the size, gallons of water, weight limit, etc based on guesswork. After researching pumps, I bought one that should have been perfect.
Now the hard part. The insulators are hollow. In my mind, you just attach PVC to the pump and turn it on. No. After hours and hours trying everything we could think of, it would not work the way we thought it would. I bought 3 pumps before we found one that sort of worked. Counting my handyman hours, my time and money, materials, gas, etc., I am close to $1,000 and nothing worked like we thought it would. I called Daniel after reading the reviews from Angie's list. He came out within a few days, gave me two options. I really needed a larger tub, different pump, different plumbing, different set up, and start over again. OR he could get a different pump, different plumbing, and fix what was wrong for $250. I will have to fill the fountain more often (which is a pain). It took about 3 hours and Daniel had the fountain running like it was supposed to work. It is really beautiful.
I could have saved money by calling a professional 1st. I wasted my time, money, and stress. I learned that if you want something done right, call a professional.
Daniel was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to do business with. He will be able to do the maintenance and repair
My wife and I bought a house with a koi pond and we knew nothing about keeping fish. Daniel has made it very easy for us and now we feel much more comfortable with the pond. I actually found Daniel on Angie's List and hired him based on his good reviews. The reviews are correct, he is very professional and knowledgeable about koi ponds. We're very glad that we found him and we are on his monthly pond maintenance program. Basically, all I have to do is to clean the filter for a couple of minutes each week and make sure that the pond stays full of water (it's amazing how much water evaporates during hot weather). You can hire Liquid Landscapes without reservation. Highly recommended! A++++
