Buyer beware. This was assigned through my home warranty company. The father/son team was non knowledgeable and didn’t properly diagnose the system. Contractor was argumentative as well as the owner Kenneth Buggay and would not order the part or put it on the schedule. Several attempts at reaching him with no return call. Left the hot attic door open and lights on when they left. Worst experience ever. Not professional in any way. Do not use. I had my home warranty assign another contractor after several days with no AC. Buyer beware.

Avoid this company at all cost. They are a scam. They work in conjunction with a warranty service called American home shield and their sole purpose is to delay delay delay until you pay for the services out of pocket. They will not respond to calls, they will not fix your problem. They will tell you that you have to wait 6 - 8 weeks for parts in the middle of the summer. Once you try and reconcile with the warranty company, They will not file the proper paper work. Terrible customer service and incompetent.

American Home Shield sponsors this insulting despicable "Confederate Flag" loving company. If we had seen Jacob wearing a Confederate belt as soon as he arrived, then he would have him step foot in our home to service our AC for Freon. To add injury to insult, I called up Ed, the service manager/owner whatever he might to voice my obvious concern to which he said incredulously, "What is the problem?" so totally oblivious and ignorant and then tried to lecture me and my wife on the history of the Confederate Flag a being as Christian Flag and after we responded by lecturing him back, he just gave up and told us we could call back and hung up on us. I am not writing this as a form of surprise or shock for anyone or myself. We know that we live in the South and are fully aware of the regressive beliefs people still have, but putting that aside for your business and not making it personal or political is how you run a business. By brandishing this decayed Confederate imagery in people's faces and bringing it into customers sacred homes and being indifferent and intolerant to even caring not leave it at your own door just means you will never do business with me or anyone that I know of or don't know of on the internet. I read a post that said American Home Shield would take this company of the list for grievances regarding poor work or just poor customer service for someone else, but I still see them listed as their contractor. So, if fling this complaint with AHS still doesn't take them of the list then American Home Shield can never have me as a customer again. Don't bother doing business with these folks, not just because their mentality is stuck in time, but especially for that and even if you don't because of it and you honor the Confederacy for their lack of care for you as customer even if you were. They are just crude in all sense of professionalism and respect and hope they go out of business as a result. The lesson here is always keep your eyes open and your mind.

Very similar experience as a number of others below.. AHS is the home warranty we were "gifted" by the seller of the house we bought a few months ago -- don't get me started on AHS - THEY don't know the meaning of customer service to begin with.. but this is less about them and more so the Kenneth Buggay HVAC firm. They came late, outside of the FIVE HOUR window they gave us in the first place that they'd supposedly arrive in.. and then spent 10 minutes to replace a broken condensate pump, but while there his helper went out to the back where our compressors are and my wife heard loud banging coming from there.... Lo and behold, when they left only one of the compressors was working (they were both running just fine BEFORE they came!) and so our whole upstairs was still hot as it’s the middle of August in Georgia… so after calling back they came back out and informed us it would be another service fee and another week before a part could be ordered – but the worst of all--- Kenneth walked out in the middle of a conversation with my wife. Clearly could not handle his own business. They messed up and had no humility to handle it properly. One of the review below said they believed Kenneth Buggay Mechanical would be taken of the AHS vendor list… we wish that really had taken place. I have NEVER written a negative review on ANY company before. This experience was that bad. STAY AWAY from Kenneth BUGGAY!!

He is an independent contractor with home warranty company. There was a $75.00 deductible. These people are quick and he fixed the problem in about 10 minutes. He is an A he has been out twice and has taken care of it quickly both times. The quality was an A because he did the job right. They were done in about a half a day. They were on time and this guy calls ahead. I am very pleased with him. He seemed to know what he was doing. Anytime somebody comes out and does it right the first time you should give them an A. Yes I would use them again. Only one person came out and it took him about 10 minutes. It was just replacing a switch. He didn't leave any mess. Basically his knowledge was very good; he knew what the problem was. Every once in a while the guy listened to what I had to say, he took my information and used it. He was a good listener. I think sometimes they will listen to a man they wont listen to a women. When you’re old you like to see self-employed people. It's a dying breed.

Great, contracted through American Homeshield Home Warranty, and Kenneth and his assistant came right away, added some Freon, and even quick-cleaned my condenser coils. Great Job!

He was a really nice guy, he took out old blower, and cleaned and put in new blower, and then put in new capacitor for A/C unit, which he didn't have to do.

He's easy to work with and his prices are very reasonable. He's knowledgeable and is also a licensed plumber although he doesn't practice that trade. He's very honest and I wouldn't go to anybody else.

I thought I smelled gas in the furnace room and was concerned so I contacted our home warranty company and they referred me to Kenneth Buggay.  They were very punctual, professional and honest.  He didn't find anything wrong with the furnance, checked the A/C units while he was here and put a little bit of freon in one.  He was very nice and kind. *Make sure you are available to answer the phone on the day of the appt.  They always call when on the way and if they cannot reach you they go to the next appointment.  To their credit they did try three different times to reach me but I was out in the yard working.  When I called them back they were able to still come by at the end of the day.
