Kaleidoscope did a great job!  We were pleased with all aspects from the beginning to the end!

The job took a little longer than expected (7 days versus 5 days).  However, I didn't mind because I wanted the job to be done right. As I said above, this is the 2nd time I have used Kaleidoscope and have been very happy with the result.  Michael, Leo, and Jill were very professional and did a great job. The house looks great.

Several areas of wood rot were identified by me and pointed out that needed to be repaired.  I insisted that all wood rot be replaced with wood or non-putty material - even if it costs more.  I want it done right was my insistence.  My previous experience with putty products is that they do not stand up to the Georgia heat and cold and soon will be problem areas again.
After the first coat, i identified several areas where wood rot had been painted over - obviously no burnishing had been completed.  One area was so bad, i pushed my fist completely through the wood rot.  Michael finally conceded to add this as a carpentry repair and charge extra (which i was fine with), but i did not understand why i had to identify the areas of wood rot.
At final inspection there were still many areas that paint had been missed and the old color was showing through or not covered at all.  Again, it was a 'battle' to get the painters to correct their mistakes and required me calling Michael, the owner.   Seems that the QA process needs improvement.
About 10 months later, after a winter and now into the summer heat, i noticed several areas of window trim that was failing.  I could not believe that woodrot of this magnitude could occur within so few months of brand new paint.  I climbed a ladder to the 2nd floor and found that putty had been used on several windows to 'repair' trim that had been identified as wood rot and was now failing.
When i called Michael's office for warranty repair, i was immediately told that they do not cover repairs to putty.  I did not understand why they used putty and i insisted that they return and complete the job correctly.
Michael, after several phone calls and being very argumentative (both of us raising our voices) did come back and repair again using putty.
Another year later (and a winter and summer) and the putty used is failing again.  I have to hire another contractor to do the repairs correctly.
You cannot trust the 'burnishing' process from KALEIDOSCOPE nor their claims to 'do things right'.

Workmanship was not what I expected initially and I had to meet with the owner to discuss and remedy. Most items were then done satisfactorily but there were still areas that I found later that hadn't been done well. Specifically, the window sills in at least one area were still and quot;softand quot; due to water penetration. Overall, I am satisfied but I would rather have had complete satisfaction for the price I paid.

It went well. No major problems.

Michael, Jill and crew are always great. Good communication and cool people. Rainy summer didn't help things much, but we got er done!

Everything went as planned. They were on time every day, cleaned up each day after working, meet all time lines and finished complete project according to plan.

From the very first day they contacted me to schedule an appointment for a free estimate, Kaleidoscope was phenomenal! Our schedule is extremely busy, but they were able to find a day and time that was convenient for both of us. The paint specialist called when he was on the way and showed up - on time! Upon arrival, he was very professional and friendly; inspected the entire house with us, pointed out carpentry issues that truly needed to be taken care of (some of which we hadn't ever noticed before), explained in detail how they would repair everything, listened to our concerns (which we really appreciated), answered all of our questions, and made very good recommendations. After about a week and meeting with 4 other contractors (none of whom were nearly as detailed and educated as Kaleidoscope), we decided to have Kaleidoscope perform the work even though they were not the cheapest quote we received - and so glad we did. Once the work got started, the crew was very professional, neat and clean. While the job was in progress, the crew found some additional carpentry issues that could not have been seen from the ground inspection. After discussion with the paint specialist, we agreed to have the additional work completed at a very reasonable rate and were very appreciative of the attention to detail that everyone was exhibiting. Once the job was done, we did a final walk through with the crew supervisor who immediately took care of the few areas we noticed that needed a little touch-up. From beginning to end, we were extremely pleased with the work that Kaleidoscope did and would happily recommend them to anyone who is looking for a top-quality painting contractor who does outstanding work at a reasonable price!

I requested estimates from different companies and this company presented the most affordable estimate in comparison to the other companies. Michael, the owner came over to evaluate the job so he could provide his estimate. He and I walked around the house and in my opinion, he did a comprehensive evaluation; he took pictures and made notes for his
estimate.
Michael was helpful when I was making my final decision on what color scheme to select.
Jill, who works at their office, kept me well informed about schedules, changes to the painters' visits due to the weather conditions, payment scheduling, etc.
The painters kept Michael up-to-date. They finished in the number of days they anticipated and did a very good job.
The head of the painters did a final walk-through with me; he noticed a small detail that escaped my inspection, he told me about it and fixed it. I appreciate that since it was a Saturday and it had been a long day for the painters.
The painters did not make any mess at all; they protected the vegetation, fixtures, windows, floor, etc. The painters also ensure that all the windows could be open and closed with ease (my house has many windows).
In summary, I am very happy with this company

The interior painting was done well. A few touch-up, because the colors were identical to prior paint so some of door trim was missed.
The exterior painting was good but not as well done as the interior. Needed to point out trim areas which needed to be sanded because the old paint had peeled off and the wood had weathered (gray). Also needed to stress to one of the painters that rotten trim needed to be replaced per contract. The team lead (Aroldo Alvarez) determined that the trim needed to be replaced.
My garage doors were painted, although I had asked Michael that they not be painted; the garage doors are to be replaced, so no painting was needed.
My suggestion is that Michael Batrano verbally instruct the team on the scope of the job (interior and exterior), so that there is no misunderstanding. He did explain the interior job but the painters were not instructed on the exterior work, which led to the rotten trim and garage door miscommunication.

The job went very well. The Pressure washer, carpenter and painters showed up in succession and completed the job in a timely manner. The contractors notified us when they arrived on-site, and let us know when they were finished. The painting was done very well, and the house looks fantastic.

When we called them they came right away and gave us the estimate, and they started working a week after that. They were always quick and dependable, and I am very happy with the service they provided me.

I had several estimates and they were competitively priced and seemed more professional. They did extremely high quality and detailed work. I was extremely pleased with the end results.

Workers were very unprofessional. Workers sat and stood on my kitchen oven(which had not been installed yet) and caved in the top of it. They stood on my glass cooktop in the kitchen and stood on my granite countertops. They got paint on my deck and they cleaned out their paint gun getting white paint spray in my back yard. Did not do any sanding prep work on the stair case arm rails and stairs for the stain work. Said they did two coats of stain which I think was a lie because they were not there long enough to do two coats.
