It makes me sad to have to write this review, but I feel obligated to warn people about this company. Mold is a serious problem that can cause very real health complications -- this company is ill-equipped to help you on every level. Steer clear! When I got service in Dec '21, I tried to contact this company for 2 months because it was clear the treatment hadn't worked. At the time, I called both the main office and my technician. The technician told me he'd come back to the house, but never did. I am usually an easy customer who over tips. Their technicians came to the house 3x (to sell me, to treat the house, to retest for mold) and every single time, I had coffee and donuts for them. I knew the names of the technicians kids by the end of this. I was not a difficult customer. They left a lockbox on my front door that needed to be removed. That lockbox was there for 10 months before they finally had a locksmith come take it off my front door. There were other problems with the service, but those now seem minor - they kept rescheduling my date, showed up late, kept quoting me different prices, didn't tell me where they placed my smoke detectors, etc - all minor, indicative of their disorganization, but not a huge deal to me. The real problem is that their treatment doesn't work and after you pay them, they disappear and are completely unresponsive. I'm super sick from mold now and having to spend thousands of dollars to get it out of my system... When they completed my service, they insisted on testing for mold themselves - "it's cheaper, let us test it!" - vs having a 3rd party confirm their treatment had worked. Don't be an idiot like me and let them do this! When they collected the samples, they did so in 10 seconds (I've now learned this is a faulty, ineffective way to collect air samples for mold) - so their faulty tests will show that you have no mold after their treatment... but you still have mold! For two months, I tried to speak to someone about the service. They had promised to respray if it didn't work the first time. No one responded despite several calls and emails. More recently, I started contacting them again in August when I learned I had gotten very ill because their mold treatment doesn't work. I've spent over two months calling their office every week and every week they make up some excuse "we're investigating" "we're waiting for the owner"... but it's been 10+ weeks of me calling and them blowing me off - they hope I will just forget about it and they can keep defrauding customers. At this point, I really just want to warn others to steer clear of this business. They are unethical, unresponsive, and - most importantly - their service is a scam. Beware. I know they will respond to this review with something like "We reached out!" but it's not true. They've blown me off with no offer to remedy the problem for almost a year. This is a bad, unethical business that you should avoid.

However, as [Member Information Removed] would not allow us to perform any re-inspection nor any testing of your home (offered free of charge), [Member Information Removed] are asking us to provide [Member Information Removed] full refund by completely relying on [Member Information Removed] 3rd party inspection / testing performed 8+ months after our services. What is most troubling to [Member Information Removed] is that the new inspection report [Member Information Removed] shared [Member Information Removed] us, indicates your property was found to have new water leaks / moisture issues - which is outside of our control and creates significant potential for new mold growth. Despite all of this it's very upsetting to [Member Information Removed] that [Member Information Removed] did not have [Member Information Removed] positive experience - this is of course the opposite of the work and customer experience we strive to provide. Our feedback and reviews way more often than not, support [Member Information Removed] positive result we strive for. However, [Member Information Removed] feel it's important and fair to state the steps and results we have on record for this service follow [Member Information Removed] process that aims to perform quality work and results following IICRC / S520 standards, plus the application of our enzyme-based fungicide to treat your property for the areas initially agreed upon. This was followed by an internal post remediation verification sample collection, in 5 areas of your home + [Member Information Removed] control sample then analyzed by an independent laboratory - which indicated NO elevated levels of airborne mold in the areas tested upon the completion of our work. Unfortunately, from this point forward, until your email to [Member Information Removed] was unaware of any issues. Despite this [Member Information Removed] still hope we [Member Information Removed] work together to attempt to mend this issue and restore your faith in our company, and would still like to provide [Member Information Removed] Free Mold & Moisture Assessment + Mold Testing your home at no charge. I thought there was mold in the home due to some health issues I was experiencing. The testing was quick and when the results came back, the assessor explained everything to me. Thank goodness I didn’t have mold! But if I did, I would have gone with Green Home Solutions! I will definitely refer them to friend and family!

Fantastic! We could not be more grateful for the Green Homes-True Enviro crew. They were literal life savers after our home flooded and mold grew in one bedroom, two bathrooms, and our kitchen. From dealing with the immediate help we needed getting rid of the mold, to their follow up over the next year making sure the air in our home stayed clean for us and our kids, their team was professional, hard working, and thoughtful and finished the job we hired them to do within the time frame they told us it would take. They were also very conscientious with their safety measures around COVID-19. Great company and great people to work with. Highly recommend!

After a month away and a lot of rain, our tenant came home to find a heavy, musty smell throughout our guest house. Upon closer inspection, we were horrified to find we had mold all over a lower level room we used mostly for extra storage. We immediately had the house tested for mold and secured a proposal for remediation while helping our tenant find an alternate place to stay. The mold report and initial estimate to remove the mold was much more than we expected. That's when a friend told me about Green Home Solutions of Northern California. Justin and Jose came to my house, provided a thorough mold inspection and within days had a plan underway to remove the mold and clean the air quality in my guest house that was nearly 50% less that our initial estimate! I Would definitely recommend GHS NorCal for any mold issue you have.

Overall everything went well. Because of the timing with a long weekend and their determination to let the wall dry out an extra day, it took a day longer to complete than we anticipated. However, it was well communicated and we were very pleased with the results and happy that they decided to completely ensure the wall was mold was resolved with the extra day.

Excellent... I worked with Justin and Jose. I have never been happier and wish all of my vendors had the professional workmanship qualities that this firm provided. Communication is a must with me and I was kept informed a couple times a week with phone calls, emails and even received an army of photos during the entire process.
