We just recently had our kitchen remodeled by Coleman Home Services. Scott Coleman is the best! Our house is a challenge, to put it mildly. Scott was everything we could ever hope for in a contractor and so much more! My husband, Scott and I sat down to discuss our dream kitchen. He told us how he worked, the best way to accomplish our goals, discussed our budget and created an amazing day-by-day schedule. First he met us at the cabinetmakers. He has been working with them for years and they are superb. They showed us all of our options at their location and then followed up by coming to our home to take measurements. We picked out our new appliances and gave the specifications to the cabinetmakers. We returned to their location to review and tweak the plan. Next, Scott referred us to his source for granite. All three of us picked out exactly what we liked. Next it was on to the tile and backsplash showroom. All of his referrals were amazing. We worked with knowledgeable people with an amazing array of choices. Finally we picked out hardware and lighting. Soon it was demolition day. Scott advertised our ?old? cabinets on Craigslist as free to a good home, so some very nice folks came to pick them up to use at another home. We were thrilled that our old kitchen would live on and not end up in a landfill. Once our floor was removed, it was evident that the subfloor was rotten as was part of the wall. He had it fixed, added flashing to the front deck which was the source of the problem in the first place, and had the deck rebuilt, all without missing a beat. Scott has an amazing background. Scott was President of John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods and with that prestigious organization for twenty-three years. He knows about every facet of construction. Our county just changed the requirements for permits so the electricians had more work. They worked over the weekend just to keep us on schedule. Scott is a hands-on guy. He was with us from the beginning to the end. He saw us through some difficult days with wise counsel and excellent referrals. Technically, he is a perfectionist. Our kitchen, will all of its issues, was done right. It seems so much larger because of the layout and the lighting. We opened up the space to our dining room but ended up with more cabinets and more counter space. Scott made sure that all of the subs returned until it was perfect. He stayed on schedule, on budget and we ended up with a kitchen beyond our dreams. It is truly beautiful and is perfect for all of our entertaining. We loved working with Scott from start to finish. He is the real thing and he is amazing! We have already begun discussing our next home remodeling project with him, a new master bedroom and bath, and referred him to our friends. We highly recommend Scott Coleman of Coleman Home Services! He is the best and we were very fortunate to work with him!
