Alan Murphy Window and Siding Company

I called Allan to get me an estimate because he came HIGHLY recommended. He did not let me down. He and Joe are great guys that do an INCREDIBLE job. I had Alan replace 22 windows and I couldn't be happier. Clean, precise, professional, honest & friendly. His pricing is EXTREMELY fair but the work ethic and attention to detail are the reason for my review. Just FLAWLESS from beginning to end

Completed a new roof, all new windows, all new exterior doors, roof, and new entryway with Alan - all the work was ended up A+. I'm very happy with the final products. Alan had reasonable prices, was knowledgeable and helpful, and he was responsive/communicative. In addition to replacing the roof, windows, and doors, he also replaced a set of windows with a new double door entryway. I'm sure it wasn't easy but he matched my vision perfectly. The pics don't quite do it justice. I would definitely use his services again.

It went great. I am happy that I choose Alan Murphy to do the work. I couldn't ask for more, Alan did what he said he was going to do when he said he would do it. It took him and 2 others 3 days to replace 29 single pane windows with double-pane vinyl replacement windows. The crew cleaned up after themselves. Alan communicated with me directly and responded to any questions that I had in a timely manner. I would recommend Alan to anyone looking to have their windows replaced.

Fine, so far. Alan and his associate did a great job from the initial bid process through delivery and total clean-up. We secured nine bids (five manufacturers and four contractors) with guidelines of our needs, timelines, and full disclosures of products (including warranties, availability, clean-up and haul aways) and installation.

He managed the job beautifully, and took care of some additional work (replaced a door to my deck that had rusted our and replaced the railing on my deck) and had the house painted as part of the project. I give him my highest recommendation. He and all the people who worked for him did a superb job and Alan went above and beyond in taking care of all the additional small stuff that crops up with any job. You'll be very happy with the work he does!!

From start to finish, Alan Murphy and his company was clear, listened well to what we wanted, performed an outstanding job in all areas, stayed within budget, finished on time, and cleaned up very well. We had some extra features. We were replacing our chimney clapboard siding with stone siding by another company. This required prepping our chimney, which Alan Murphy's crew did really well. They contacted the stone working company and understood the requirements. It required some extra fiber cement boards, more than originally estimated. We were pleasantly surprised that Alan did not charge us extra for that, even though he warned us would cost a little more and gave us a reasonable estimate for that. Alan Murphy also redid our shed doors at no extra cost. We asked about what could be done about the doors as work was starting on our house. Alan came up with a solution that works well. Alan also fixed a minor issue on our house (that was originally a defect with our house) and hung shutters that came a month after he had completed work. That was above and beyond what was expected. Alan, and his crew were prompt, worked within time and budget, and did an outstanding job. They performed well beyond our expectations. We love the finished look of our home.

Alan and his crew did an outstanding job with all services and work performed.  I would note several points:  (1) Alan is very honest and diligent, and provides straight-forward answers and practical advice to any questions / issues; (2) Alan spent much time directly at the job site, and was otherwise easily reachable; (3) the crews all worked very efficiently and acted very professionally and respectfully; (4) all work was performed within the initial time frame that was outlined; and (5) the overall quality of the work was excellent.

I had interviewed several contractors for this work, and Alan's estimate was in the middle of the range of quotes that I received.  I decided to go with Alan because he seemed to be the most diligent about making sure that he would produce a successful outcome......this including identifying existing problem areas (e.g. flashing around the roof line and chimney) as well as listening to any concerns that I had.  Alan also came across as someone that would be very easy to work with (and that certainly turned out to be true).

Alan was also very responsive to any changes to the work order that I requested or needed, and all prices quoted were very fair and transparent.  I would absolutely use Alan and his crew again for any future work, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing to have similar work performed.

My husband and I meet Alan Murphy at the Atlanta Home Show at the Cobb Galleria Centre.  We  had decide to get some siding place on our home. As you know, the Home Show has lots and lots of vendors. We need some answers to our questions about siding.  We stopped at Alan Murphy "Window and Siding" booth. He answered all questions that we had and he explained more in details of things that we did not know.  We decided to call Alan for an estimate. At the time we called, Alan was on vacation but he promise to call once he return.  Once we made the appointment and meet with Alan, he was very knowledgeable and explained things to us that we did not considered about siding.  We also had a roof place on the home...  Once the job started, Alan kept us informed on every step of the process.
He and his team were very professional and polite. I am so happy that we meet Alan and the work that was did on our home was excellent.  I have already refer him to a friend.

Everything is going good.  He is finishing up the painting now.
