I called about 10:00 am and they had a service tech out by early afternoon. He ran into an additional problem at the connection inside the refrigerator, which he repaired as well. Professional from start to finish. Cleaned up his work area as you would expect. Very pleased. I will definitely call again when needed.

This guy used to be good. I don't know if he has Alzheimer's or has just become very foggy, but it's not good. He overcharged us $60 for no reason and he came at a completely different appointment time and a day early, then was angry we weren't available. He always seemed to be hard of hearing and difficult to communicate with, not understanding me or my husband well (and my husband has the same mild-southern accent as him), but that with the memory loss/fogginess is too much. I try to communicate with him in writing, but he often doesn't respond, so phone it was. We made an appointment for a Weds, 2-2:30pm, and he showed up Tuesday at 10am, calling and knocking and left a very frustrated voice message. I had told him that we are never available before 2pm, but he blamed me anyway. He acted like we purposefully didn't answer the door. We work third shift, so we sleep mornings into the afternoon, during which time our phones are off. The doorbell doesn't work and it's a large house, so we never heard the knocking. I spoke to him later that day and I was nice about the whole thing, felt kind of bad for him that he was so confused. He said he'd come at the original time, the next day between 2-2:30. We waited and nothing. He finally called at 4:30 to ask if we were home. He acted like we were very irresponsible people who don't care about wasting other people's time. He showed up after 5pm, but failed to fix the oven. He said the issue was the thing we'd already had fixed, by him, which he'd forgotten about. He made comments like that we should answer our phones and he expects conversation while working. Then he overcharged us $60, without explanation, and without fixing anything. I had left and my husband was so frustrated he just paid it to get him out of there. He was only at our home for 20 minutes. I'm sure he charged that extra money because he was mad at us for not answering the door, a day before our appointment and a completely different time of day. The other thing that happened was before I called him to begin with, I'd sent him a message through Angie's List. I didn't hear anything back. Several days later I got a text saying "I can fit you in between this time and this time today." I had no idea who the text was from. That's all it said and I'd never received a text from that number before. I assumed it was a wrong number, so I said so. Instead of saying who he was, he said nothing. Several days after that, a similar text came in. Never said who it was, and I again assumed it was a wrong number. When I called him the following week, I realized he was the one who'd texted. It was very strange. You message someone through an online service, then two days later get a phone text saying I can fit you in today, no announcement of who it is or what it's for... And yet he was frustrated with me over this. Like I'm inconsiderate and have no regard for others' time. The whole experience was awful. He hasn't just gone downhill in the past year, he's fallen off a cliff. $160 and our oven is in the same condition it was before. He blamed the thing he "fixed" last time, forgetting he said that was fixed and this other thing was the problem. I was nothing but patient and nice to him. We're always friendly, hospitable, and generous with anyone who comes to our home. I don't think he has any idea that he has an issue with his memory, nor with communication. I would never use him again and recommend that you stay clear as well.

Herbert came out within an hour of my call, knew immediately what was wrong and did a temporary fix so I could finish the wash. He then made a quick run to the part store to pick up a switch and had the washer repaired within 10 minutes after returning.

Wonderful service! Would never go anywhere else! Very professional, prompt, well-mannered, highly-skilled, trustworthy, reliable, and great with communicating the issue. He's a small-town type of guy (not a big company where you don't always know who you're getting) who knows what he's doing, works incredibly hard, and will give it to you straight and give you a very fair price.

We were very satisfied with the service. He came back twice with the part. He didn't have the price to fix it so he charged us for two service call. He was very professional and a nice man.

Accurate Appliance came out to fix the small leak in our 3-year-old washing machine. On the first trip they didn't find anything wrong so they tightened a few things. After they left we found it still leaking. On the second trip they found a leak near the motor. They had to leave to get parts and returned the same day and successfully repaired the washer. I had printed out a coupon from Angie's List offering $20 off of a repair over $100. I left the coupon on the washer and it was gone when I got home (our nanny had let the technician in the house). Accurate Appliance claimed to not have received the coupon and would not honor it.

I have used Accurate Appliance over the past five years or so. I just saw that he's on Angie's List and I'm so happy!
I can honestly say I trust Herbert and his skills & advise since he's been in the business for over 25 years!
He's knowledgeable, honest and done right the nicest person you'll ever meet! He will tell you exactly what the problem is, the most cost effective way to fix it and if he can't fix it, he'll tell you that too.  He won't try to rip you off!  The other amazing thing about him is, you will call him & he will do his best to get to you that day if at all possible or have one of his associate's.  Or at most, the next day.  He strives for complete 100% customer satisfaction!  Great company! Great service! Great guy!

He was not the best. My husband spent a lot of time with them. The quality was good, he got it all fixed. He was responsive and punctual. He wasn't an expert on our brand of our refrigerator, and he sought out someone else, and then I pointed out the problem. The guy was nice and everything. We have used them in the past, and we would use them again. They are good. They should have somebody come out who is familiar with the LG refrigerator. They should send out a guy who is knowledgeable about the appliance. The price was reasonable for what he did.

He was good, courteous and knew what he was doing. Fixed the problem of fridge not cooling but the freezer was. However ambiguity prevailed as the price was quoted. Expected a upfront price declaration before starting to blow off the frozen ice. Also the second reported problem was ignored.

Clyde, the repairman, showed up on time.  He was very professional.  He did his best to make sure that my kitchen hardwood floors did not get wet.   He cleaned up when he was done.  The refrigerator is working well now.

We have a Maytag wide-by-side refrigerator that we bought in January 2001. This was the first and last year Maytag made that model and we were told this by a Maytag repairman years later. After the first 4 years, we started having problems with a thick layer of ice freezing on the bottom of the freezer and water running out onto the floor during the defrost cycles. We have hired and paid numerous repair companies over the years. The only thing all of these companies did was chip the ice off the bottom of the freezer compartment, pour hot water down the drain line. tell us that fixed it and charge us a minimum of $169. The refrigerator would start the same thing again within a few months and then it started happening in weeks and then in just days. We were so frustrated at the money we were spending on the same frequently recurring problem. 2 years ago, a repairman had put a new defrost heater on and that had worked well for the 2 years and then it started leaking water on the floor again 8 months ago.

We were so skeptical by now. I found Accurate Appliance on Angie's List and I saw the A reviews and I read the comments. I called and left a message and Herbert called back the same day. He said he could come out right away but my schedule was crazy. He was very patient with me having to reschedule a couple of times. Clyde called to let me know when he was on the way and he was on time and he was very polite and professional. He listened very patiently to my story of how frustrated we have been with this problem. He could not unclog the line with just hot water and a drain clear-out line, so he had to take the defrost drain line off which is in the bottom and back side of the refrigerator. He washed the line out in the sink to remove what was evidently years of build-up that had never been cleaned out by the other companies. All they had done was pour hot water down the line and say that was all it needed.

Many thanks and appreciation to Herbert and to Clyde for the time spent in waiting on me to reschedule and on clearing the defrost drain and with cleaning up the ice and water and for putting up with my numerous questions about how to care for my refrigerator. I will definitely refer them to all of my friends and anyone who says they need a good appliance repair company!

Herbert diagnosed the problem as heavy ice build up behind the refrigerator. He had to dismantle a large portion of fridge to get to problem. Was extremely patient and thorough as it took forever to melt all the ice and ultimately unstop a clogged drain. Definitely would recommend him as top notch.

I had an experience with another company that did not go well off of Home Advisor ....opened an account on Angie's....and found Accurate Appliance....Herbert called me with 15 mins of buying the service ...we discuss the situation over the phone...he bought the

parts ahead of time but he got here and performed a diagnostic and flush out the lines....did not need a new compressor....great experience...cant say enough about Herbert...communicated during the entire process, told me what he was going to try to see if he could save me $$$ not needing the compressor....worse case the compressor would need to be replaced....after an hour he said I think we got, don't need the compressor, line was clogged...I am glad he set the expectation of worse case and then was able to improve on the situation....great job, great professionalism...I would recommend Herbert....

The fan on our fridge was making a loud noise.  Herbert came out and replaced the freezer fan.  After he left, the fridge did not cool so he returned Monday and unfroze the back of the fridge and the drain.  The fridge then cooled unevenly, the bottom was frozen, the top was warm.  He returned Friday and replaced the fridge fan.  The fridge then would not cool below 55 degrees.  What we did not realize (because he did not tell me)  was that he put the original (broken) fan back in the refrigerator to see if it would work.  I assumed that he was using all new materials and I was not expecting him to test items by putting them in the fridge and waiting for me to call a fourth time when they did not work.
Three strikes and you're out -  we ended up calling another repairman who tested the fridge fan with the proper equipment and determined that it was not working.  After he replaced it with a new fan, it worked correctly.   I did let Herbert know that this happened, he was not apologetic and insisted that both fans were broken.  His method of fixing things by testing them and coming back multiple times is not a way to run a business.
I do appreciate that we were not charged each time Herbert returned to our house.  And i do appreciate him trying to save money by not making me pay for a new fan if it wasn't broken - though I would have preferred to be made aware that he was doing that.  I'm not a repairman but I'm pretty sure there are tools you can use to test parts to see if they are working.  I needed to have a working refrigerator and I think expecting it to be fixed the first time (or at least the second) is not too much to ask.
