Superior Septic Tank Service

I called and left a message with Superior this morning, and they called back promptly. Even though they don't serve my area (I didn't realize that when I left the message), they then asked me what was going on with my septic tank, advised me as to what they believed I could expect to be wrong, and then took the time to call someone in my area who could refer a reputable company. All this while I wasn't even going to be a customer! I was surprised and extremely pleased to get such friendly, old-fashioned nice service! :)

Things I learned from them; Don't flush any kind of wipe (even flushable and septic friendly). These will clog their hose causing them to have to take them out by hand which can cost 700-800 dollars not to mention damage your system by flushing them in the first place. Foods cause greasy build up in your septic so don't use the garbage disposal if you have a septic system and certainly don't poor oil or grease down the drain. I hope this helps someone else.

Was honest about choices and prospects for success. Didn't try to push additional services (which may be needed later anyway). Fairly prompt, considering weather-caused delays. Adjusted schedule to accommodate our limitations. Kept me informed of progress.

Superior Septic was very quick to come to our house to evaluate and pump our septic system. We kept hearing different problems that were beyond the basic pump and inspect but the price for repairs increased very little over our estimate considering that we had to replace our septic pump. We were shown each problem and time was taken to explain why there was a problem and the proper way to fix the problem. We feel that they were very fair with the price. We were also very pleased with the professional behavior of both people working. I would recommend them to others.

Our auxiliary septic pump was failing to operate. It had burned out and needed replaced. This company evaluated the situation by running some very logical tests while explaining what they were doing. Once the work needed was determined, they ordered the necessary parts, came as scheduled, and took care of the job for the cost they predicted. We have not had any issues with the work or the pump. I can't remember what we paid, but after some research, I do know it was a fair price for parts and labor.

They are very good people. They did well, and I was very pleased. They did a good job cleaning up, and asked if I had any questions. I would definitely use them again.
