I would give him the highest rating. He did what he said he was going to do. He got the job done on time. He charged us what he said he was going to charge us. He was excellent. He showed up on time. He sent one guy over to remove the old deck. He was here on time. He stayed all day until he finished removing the old deck. He removed it in the most efficient way possible. Then the very next day the new product was delivered. Three people worked the project along with the owner. They finished the project on time, except for one problem which wasn't his fault. When the product was delivered they left out one post and they will be coming back tomorrow to install the last bit.
Description of Work: He rebuilt a deck for me using a product called TimberTech. TimberTech is a composite wood product. He is licensed in both Georgia and Florida. Although the main part of the construction was done quite well, the final cut on the final piece of decking was poor and included more than one mistake. It did not make the board unusable, but a true professional would have admitted his mistake and ordered another board. The other problem was the electrical work was done by a friend of his who does electrical work for a commercial company. Mr. Jones left town to do a job in Florida and his friend charged us for work we had already paid Mr. Jones for. Mr. Jones made up for it, by having the electrician come back to close a junction box and install a solar sensor on the lights (it should have been done originally.) So, Mr. Jones was pretty high on my list of contractors, but he slipped in the end.
