The installer did the work. But need a new part also. But the company want to charge more to replace it. But the installer stated come back do the work with no additional charge. They not honor what the installer said. Now I have to get someone to do the work.

I found them through my builder. We just bought this house a year ago and it was under warranty. We're still using their plumber. They were on time. They came and made an appointment right away.

The first good sign was that Checkered's owner, Joe Alexander, arrived at my home for the first estimate exactly--to the minute--on time. While competing plumbers with experiene in installing the Uponor PEX product had installation conditions that were in excess of those stipulated by Uponor itself and that would drive up installation cost, I found that Joe's installation strategy was congruent with that of the manufacturer, allowing him to come in several THOUSANDS of dollars less than the others.
Specifically, while Uponor's US operations are based in Apple Valley, MN and while they endorse re-pipes utilizing attic space to run the tubing, many local plumbers wanted to rip open walls to install the PEX. That extra labor was making costs escalate exponentially. And, going through the walls would have meant many costly additional drywall repairs. Going through the attic mitigated all of that.
On the day of installation a crew of six experienced plumbers descended on our home--again on time--and went about, NASCAR-like, terminating our old, under-the-slab copper-piping, and replacing it with the new, Uponor PEX system. They started at 8:30 and were finished with our home by 4:00 that same afternoon.
Beyond the crew's technical proficiency, I appreciated not only their politeness, but also their willingness to accommodate some of my addtional requests. For example, I was concerned that there might be a need to demo some tile via Sawzall in one of the bathrooms, and that the demo might create a lot of fine dust that would mean a lot of cleanup throughout the home; when I suggested that the guys use my HEPA vacuum to capture the dust during the demo, they cheerfully complied, saving me and my wife lots of work, and keeping our toddler safer at the same time, too.
I hope that you never have to experience the anxiety and expense associated with an under-the-slab leak; but if you do, I'm 100% confident that selecting Checkered Flag Plumbing to install an Uponor PEX plumbing system as opposed to attacking the issue by jacking up your slab will go a long way towards restoring your valuable peace-of-mind.
