Pickett Truck And Trailer Repair

My Kenworth broke down on I-24 near Chattanooga, TN. It was towed into Pickett Truck and Trailer Repair's shop in Wildwood, GA. We were hoping it might need a small repair. Unfortunately, that was not to be the case. The engine needed a complete rebuild. The shop got to work immediately. In about two weeks, they were able to rebuild the engine and get us back on the road. The owner did the majority of the repairs himself. He was able to work with our lender and got all the paperwork and warranty information to them, to get the repair loan completed. They cut us a check, which we cashed and paid the shop. They even stayed late so we wouldn't miss another day on the road. We have had many other repairs done in the past, and are well aware how much these repairs can cost in parts and labor. This shop charged us less than $100 an hour, which I have not found anywhere else! They were very dedicated to our truck, and had someone on this truck from the moment it entered the shop. Of this I am certain, as I know these repairs would have taken much longer at a larger shop. We have been very pleased with our "new" engine, and it hasn't given us any problems.
