Outside The Box Construction

Outside The Box Construction (OTBC) was hired to remodel my upstairs neighbor's bathroom due to the tile in the bathroom shower leaking water and staining my bathroom ceiling below. The first thing I noticed about OTBC during the upstairs remodel is how they cleaned up the stairwell connecting our units every day and were very polite and courteous as they were coming and going. I monitored their work upstairs as the project progressed and was so pleased with the results, that I asked them to give me a quote for a full bathroom remodel. The scope of work included: demoing the entire bathroom and replacing support beams under the floor that were rotted due to water damage which caused the floor to sag several inches, remove all debris from the site, install sheetrock and insulation, build a walk-in shower to replace my tub, tile the shower and bathroom floor with new tile, paint walls, install a new exhaust fan, install a new vanity and toilet and install all of the new bathroom hardware/accessories I purchased. In other words, do EVERYTHING! Also, the price was very reasonable, especially considering all of the different things they were required to do. Kris Walker was my main contact during the project and was very helpful and always available to answer any questions I had. He was able to help guide me through the process from beginning to end. From purchasing the tile and hardware, all the way through to the construction/installation process. OTBC stuck to schedule they gave me for the project to be complete. This was very important since I could not live there until the work was completed because I only have one bathroom in my unit. Most importantly, my bathroom looks BEAUTIFUL! All of the workmanship is top notch and the tile looks amazing! The walk-in shower makes the whole bathroom look so much larger than it used to. I LOVE IT! I will definitely will use them for my kitchen remodel!

Outside the Box Construction - Don Liotta and team - have been the best contractors I've ever worked with. I met with Don a couple of times before the project began to discuss details, materials, cost, etc. He is creative, had wonderful suggestions, and provided solutions to existing house problems - like a window in the proposed walk-in shower space, building a new pantry vs. new cabinets in my kitchen, and reconfiguring with existing flooring to fill gaps created by the changes. The team started when they said, worked long hours, and always left my house clean and usable at the end of the day. Their quality of workmanship and care is extremely impressive from the trim to tile and stonework to adjusting the vanity cabinet drawers that came askew from KraftMaid. They were great about answering any questions I had as the work progressed. Any minor issues I noticed were immediately resolved - like adjusting the height of a point of use water heater they installed for us. Don and team were easy to communicate with and responsive - they really wanted to be sure that I was delighted with the results, I would not hesitate to recommend them to others and they are first on my list for any future home improvement project. They truly demonstrated and executed excellence in every aspect of my project.
